Ch 4. Hurt

As Zane falls unto the ground with a loud crash. Small metal parts flew everywhere leaving the nindroid in a mess. His body was torn while falling but he didn't mind, he could not feel what happened to his metallic parts but the thought of what he heard, it kept repeating, mere words tormenting him ...

He couldn't handle it, the pain that was causing him. He heard of it before reminding him of how he felt loosing everything he had. His friends...his life...He always wished that he would never experience it again. But he was wrong.

Mr. E went down to the canyon and takes a look at Zane or what's left of him. He walked silently towards the fallen ninja, eyeing on him like a prey.

Zane wanted to say something, just something to that wretched nindroid but he forgot that his body, his mechanics are in a bad state. He hadn't realized that he's been pushing himself. He decides to let go, thumping into the ground again. His bright blue, glowing eyes went out like a light leaving the lifeless grey eyes takes over.

"We've got the ninja Quiet One...

the trap has been set."

The trap...? What does he mean. Zane wanted to learn more but even his mind couldn't think properly to do what he wanted. There's only one thing that he could do...

Mr. E looked one last time to the broken nindroid and picked up his fallen motorcycle-which seems fine in most parts-and head outside this wretched place, leaving the helpless ninja alone without a word.

Just as where everything is silent, a faint beeping sound echoes in the depths of the canyon. It was coming from Zane, he recorded the conversation about Mr. E and the Quiet One hoping that the ninjas would find out. If only they know where to find him, but its time for him to rest. He thought as the world around him swirled around until all that left is the darkness overpowering him alone in the depths of the canyon.
