Chapter 3-Will things get worse now?

Srishti's POV

We all reach home and as I am going to lock the house, I see Preeta Di, standing there, I call her inside and close the door, she is crying continuously! I can't understand what happened!

"Preeta, what happened? Why are you crying? And where is Karan?" Maa asks peeping outside too see Karan sir!

Di doesn't answer but keeps on crying.

"Di, please tell what happened? Where is Karan sir?" I ask

"Srishti beta, take Preeta in her room, let her calm down first, then ask!" Daadi says

I then take her in our room, and after some time maa comes in

"Preeta beta, please tell me what happened? I am really scared. Did Karan do something? Where is he?"

"Maa, Karan married me to take revenge of Mahesh uncle's condition! He never wanted to marry me, he left me on the road and just drove off!" Di said crying

"What?? How can he do that? I trusted him soo much! And he......I am going to Luthra mansion, I have to go and speak, how can he do this to my daughter!"

"Nahi maa! Please don't go anywhere! Leave it, I don't want any fight, and I don't want Kareena aunty to say you anything and Sherlyn is also there! And I know that Karan can not do anything like this! I am sure something happened, I trust him a lot maa!"

"What happened to you Preeta? Even after all this you are supporting him?" Maa asks

"Calm down maa, I will talk to Di, but for now leave this matter!" I say

Maa smiles and goes out

"Di I know you trust Karan sir! Please talk to him once more and see!"

"No Srishti! If he cares for me, then he will only call me! Or else leave him to whatever he wants to do! But I am sure he has some other reason for all this! But I still trust him!"

"Di now you sleep, and don't think about this! We all are with you, and I am sure Karan sir will come to pick you up, and will not leave you like this! Don't worry!"

She nods and sleeps! I then call Sameer

"Hello Sameer, did Karan sir come home?"

"Yes! He directly went to his room, without saying anything! Everyone asked him why was he dressed as a groom, but he didn't answer, and just went off!"

"Ohh! Was he angry?"

"Yes!! Very angry! And where is Preeta? She didn't come with him?"

"Karan sir, left her on the way, he married her for revenge Sameer! And here Di is crying from the time she came! I don't know why Karan sir is doing this!"

"What?? How can he do that? I will go and talk to him wait!"

"No! Sammy he won't listen to anyone, let rakhi aunty and Rishabh bhai talk to him!"

"Okay bye Srishti! I have to go!"

"Bye!"

Rishabh's POV

As Karan entered his room without telling anything, me and maa went to his room!

"Karan! Where is Preeta? You are married to her! Where is she?" Maa asked in a angry tone

"I don't know! I left her somewhere!" He replied moving his face away

Maa widened her eyes and slapped Karan so hard.

"Maa!! Don't do anything!" I say as I move Karan away

"No Rishabh! How can Karan do this? She married him, and trusted him, and he left her somewhere?"

"Karan!! What is this? Don't you care about Preeta ji? She accepted you as her groom on her wedding with Prithvi! And now you left her?"

"If you care so much for her, then go to her! I don't care about her! I will not get a girl who tried to kill my father to my home!"

"Stop!! Don't utter a single word now! What do you think huh? She did all this? You also know that she can't do anything wrong! She can't do anything to our family, and think about her family, sarla aunty, daadi, srishti.....?"

"Did she care about our family? She hurted our family, she tried to kill....." He said but got cut off by maa

"Stop!! Don't say anything about her, I am going to her home and getting her, this is her house, and she will stay here only! Rishabh take me there fast!"

"Bhabi, you are not going anywhere, Karan I am proud of you! That middle class girl deserves this! Let her do anything! First of all you shouldn't have married her, but still it's better that you left her! She will understand how wrong she was!" Kareena bua said as she and Sherlyn enter

"Haan mummy ji, she deserves all this! Let her go and die....."

"Sherlyn! Stop! Dare if you say a single word now! Stop!" I say screaming

"Rishabh...she is your wife...." Kareena bua said

"Then remain as my wife itself, you have no right to tell anything about Preeta ji or her family! So stop it!"

"But Rishabh....."

"Sherlyn, I said stop!! And maa, come let's go!"

"Haan beta, come!"

We both then go to their house!

Preeta's POV

As I go in the kitchen, to take water and here a door bell ring, I go and open and to my shock I see rakhi aunty and Rishabh ji!
Rakhi aunty hugs me tightly

"I am sorry beta! I am really sorry for what Karan did! I don't know what's wrong with him! Please beta forgive me from his behalf!" She says crying

"Nahi aunty, you don't have to say sorry! I am okay! Please don't cry" I say but I can't control myself either, I also start crying

"I am sorry beta!"

"It's okay aunty!"

"Rakhi ji?" Maa comes from inside

"Haan sarla ji, I came here to take my daughter in law home! Please forgive me for Karan's mistake, please! I am sorry!

"Nahi rakhi ji, I can't send her please! She has already suffered a lot! I can't see her like this please!"

"Sarla Aunty, till I am there I can assure you that nothing will happen to Preeta ji! Please sarla aunty, trust us!"

"We already trusted Karan and married my daughter to him, and he lost our trust!"

"Please sarla aunty! We will ask Preeta?"

I myself want to go there, so that I can understand what is wrong with karan! And what is he up to, when they ask me, I forcefully had to agree, and went with them! Even maa agreed later!
