I must have slept like the dead that night because, when I woke up, I heard my alarm blaring loudly. I looked at the time and panicked. 10:04 AM. I was really late for school. I quickly showered, and got dressed for the day. I looked at the silent organism on my dresser and pondered out loud a bit. "If you could understand us last night, can you understand me now?" I poked it, and the thing shot up. I jumped back and looked at it. "Okay... Can you become an accessory? Like say... A wristband?" The thing jumped onto my arm, and shaped itself around my wrist. When I looked at it again, it was the shape of a black wristband. "So you can." I chuckled to myself, and walked to the door. I grabbed my backpack, looking around my empty house. Parents were at work and didn't need to know I was late. Good. I walked out the door and headed to school. Once I got there, I looked around for Trent and Damian. When I found them, I immediately saw they had the same idea.

Damian came with his symbiote as a blood red leather jacket, and Trent came with his symbiote as a green beanie.I walked over to them and yawned. "Anyone else just as tired as me?" Damian was too tired for words, so he simply nodded. Trent chuckled. "I woke up like ten minutes ago. Come on. Let's get to class already." We all walked to class, but the door was locked. There was a sign that read in bold letters, "LATE STUDENTS REPORT TO THE LIBRARY" Damian scoffed. "Can you believe this?" I growled and walked up to the door.

"Stand back, Damian. I have an idea." I put my shoulder against the door, leaned back a bit, and pushed against the door. I nearly ended up taking it off the hinges, as I looked into class. The teacher glared at us. "Can none of you read? All late students report to the library." I growled like a rabid animal as I glared back at the teacher. "Well unless you wanna lose the ability to write and walk, I'd suggest you negate that rule."

"Mr. Rollins! I will not accept that type of attitude towards school staff! Mind your tongue, or I will send you to the principal's office! Now to the library, now!" I reluctantly went to the library with Trent and Damian, ready to smash a hole in the wall. In the library, Damian was laying on the table and Trent kept giving me this weird look. "Dude, you never threaten the teacher. And if you do, you don't say it to his face. What the hell was that about, man?" I shrugged.

"I don't know what came over me. I just... got this sudden burst of rage." I sighed. "Maybe I bottled in my anger for too long, and it just came out." Trent nodded slowly, still giving me skeptic looks.

"Well, let's hope that it doesn't happen again. Last thing we need is to get expelled." Trent grabbed a book, and began to read. "I hate the library. None of these books are in a respectable condition, and they're probably meant for a fifth grade class." He chuckled, and then he dropped his smirk. "Since when did I like reading? And when did I ever care about the condition of a book?" He shook his head and tossed the book away, causing Damian to chuckle. "So you're becoming a perfect bookworm, and Fang is turning into the Hulk. I wonder what I'm gonna turn into..." He clasped his hands together, and closed his eyes. "Please let me turn into a motorcycle star."  He laughed and sat back in his seat.

We resumed our regular classes, and the typical routine happened. The bullies kept messing with me in my 3rd class. It wouldn't have been as bad if I didn't take all the paper balls they threw at me, clumped them together, and threw it back with enough force to leave a mark on the first guy's mouth. I knew I was gonna pay for that during lunch. Boy, was I wrong. At lunch, the three bullies from my last class pulled me back and smashed my face into my lunch. The whole room laughed, and I growled. Trent and Damian looked at me, Trent trying to calm me down. "Don't do something you'll regret." The bullies kept up their idiotic plans and smashed their lunch onto the back of my head.

"Sorry, Fang. I guess my hand slipped. But the good this is I've finally paid you back for the times you gave me your lunch money in elementary school." A group gathered to watch and laugh at my humiliation. Not this time. I stood up and sarcastically laughed, wiping the food off my head. "That's funny, Bryan. That's real funny. But you know what's even funnier?" I turned quickly and sent my head into the bridge of his nose, causing him to fall back. "You are so dead, Rollins!" I laughed.
