*as im walking to last period i spot kairi and i run up to him*

kairi: i can ignore you doe
*he flashed a smile and sat down in his seat. i walked to my seat and since ale sat infront of me i had an idea*
y/n: *whispers* ale, do yk why kairi has been avoiding me?

-fast forward to the end of class-
*i was packing all my stuff and right before i walked out of class, i walked up to kairi*

*we walked outa the classroom and he had his arm around me while we were dying of laughter. i finally stop laughing to see jayla and cilla standing infront of me and kai*

*i looked at kairi and he rubbed his neck while i started laughing*

*the next thing yk is im laying on the grass and kairi is on top of me*

y/n: fine, but can i come to your house to hang and meet your mom?
kairi: you wanna meet my mom?
y/n: i mean ofc! why wouldn't i wanna meet my future mother-in-law?

y/n: yes i was kidding. i thought it would be funny because of all the jokes cilla and jayla were making. but i do wanna meet maa bestfriends mom.
kairi: alright lets go!
*with that he put his arm around me and we walked to his car*
*when we got to his house his mom was very nice and she cooked delicious food. i also got to meet his adorable little sister*
maiya: so what do you see in kairi? it can't be much with his height.
*i started dying and looked at kairi*
y/n: well he's very funny, he's good at cheering people up, he's very honest and a loyal friend and his smile is adorable.
maiya: kairi, this is wifey material!
kairi: alright that's enough maiya. it's time for you to go

*i started laughing as kairi tried to push his sister outa his room*
kairi: sorry she can be a little to much sometimes..

*since we were both sitting on his bed and i was in the corner leaning on the wall, kairi came and laid his head in my lap while i was playing with his hair*
y/n: i would never and i mean never replace my boy bestfriend. especially since my boy bestfriend is you.
kairi: you mean it?
y/n: ofc kai. you've been there for me even when you didn't know me.
kairi: i love you bestfriend.
*i looked at him and kissed his forehead*

*i made a little heart outa my hands and he did the same*
*alittle while after his mom came in and told us to come eat dinner*

*after we ate kairi and i went to his room*
kairi: wanna watch a movie?
y/n: yeah, but idk if i can stay for the whole thing..
kairi: call you mom and ask if you can stay the night

*i gave in and called my mom*
y/n: she said yes!
kairi: bet! maa y/n is staying the night.
ms.cosentino: ok kairi. i'll bring extra blankets when they're done drying
*after that he picked a movie and laid in his bed*
kairi: comeee, lay with me y/n!

kairi: me is cold..
y/n: and what do you want me to do about it? huh?
kairi: first of all don't give me and attitude young lady!!!!!
y/n: excuse me? young lady?
kairi: ay, ay, ay. lemme finish! second, come cuddle with me to keep me warm while my mom finishes the laundry. pweaseee!
y/n: fine. your a big baby i swear.
*as i was moving closer to kairi i heard him whisper "i wish you was my baby" under his breath*
y/n: wait- what did you say?
kairi: nothing.
y/n: i heard you say something kai
kairi: i didn't say anythinggggg
y/n: mhm, sure..
kairi: whatever. just come lay with me, im still cold.
*after a while of laying with him i decided to pretend to sleep to see what he would do*
kairi's pov:
*awe, she's sleeping.. i couldn't stop looking at her, so i took out my phone and took a picture of us and set it as my lock screen.*
kairi: hey beautiful. ik your sleeping so there's no better time for me to tell you. i like you, a lot. i can't tell you this rn because our friendship is perfect and i can't ruin it. but i'll tell you when the time is right. anyways sleep well princess.
your pov:
*i couldn't believe what i just heard. ik i shouldn't have heard that but i can't wake up now and say i was pretending.*
*all of a sudden he turns the t.v off and kissed my forehead*
kairi: im lucky i get to call you my bestfriend.
*my heart started to melt as he fell asleep. after that i knew i had an amazing, kindhearted bestfriend and i couldn't replace him for the world.*
ms.cosentino's pov:
*as i finished the laundry, i walked into kairi's room and i saw him holding y/n. i couldn't help but take a picture. im just happy that he found a girl like her because i can definitely tell she makes him happy*
