Chapter 2 : Letter's Secret

"What are you talking about?! Who are you?" Heidi said.

She pulled the girl out of the room. Her eyes caught the first aid box which she had left outside the storeroom and then she suddenly remembered her dog, Tyson. She quickly pulled the stranger, forcing her to follow her to Haley's room, where she had left her wounded dog.

"Not so hard! It's painful where you're putting pressure on!" the girl cried.

Heidi let go of the stranger and attend to her dog. She slowly lift its arm and saw that it was a very deep cut. She took the cotton pads and a mild antibacterial liquid soap to clean the wound. Then she applied antibacterial ointment to the wound and cover it with gauze and wrap it with a bandage.

She then turned her gaze to the stranger. She noticed that the stranger have bruises and scratches all over her body. There were bags under her eyes. She looks like as if she haven't slept for more than 2 days. The oddest thing was she was wearing a familiar looking uniform. But Heidi can't seemed to recall anything.

"Now tell me everything. Don't be afraid, i know that you are. But so am i. There are two dead bodies here. Saw them? They are my parents. So i am expecting a lot from you to help me. Please help me so that i can get justice for them" Heidi said.

But the next thing the stranger said gave her a shock.

"Did you or any of your family members received a weird looking, shiny cream colored envelope with maroon colored wordings recently??" the stranger said.

"Y-yeah but how do you know? I mean what does it mean? Who were those two guys? They gave me the creeps. And today these guys.."

"These people were from the same company but of different departments" the stranger cut her off.

"Woah slow down. Self introduction is very important, you know? So answer my question. Who the hell are you? And why did my sister hid you here??" Heidi was getting impatient since the stranger made everything more confusing.

"My name is Anna Somerset. Your sister saved me. I was kidnapped a year ago by the men of a very influential but dangerous man named Panther. Have you heard of him? Have you heard of Mr Henry Phillips? The Minister of Foreign Affairs?" Anna asked.

"Henry Phillips???" My Dad works for him. I meant..worked. Dad resigned just a month ago. My parents used to talk about him a lot of times and from the facts, he doesn't sound like a good guy.." Heidi explained. 

"Your father was certainly an angel in disguise. He pretended to be on Panther's side but actually he was saving us. Then i met your sister, Haley. She works for Panther as his personal assistant. Your Dad played a part here. He had the idea from the start. For the past six months, they had rescued more than twenty of us. Slowly Panther realized that 'business' was not doing good. He suspected something. Well i guess he had his eyes on your family. Yesterday was a failed attempt. Your father and sister helped me escaped but Panther's men saw us. Saw that envelope? That envelope was like a last warning. They found out..."

"Shush! Anna, i hear police sirens. Okay, here is the plan. You have to act like you're crying and very upset. Sit near my parents dead body. Please do this for me okay. I have to find my sister. Please. I have a strong feeling that she needs my help. You have to tell the police everything okay?" Heidi explained.

Anna agreed. Heidi quickly took her dog Tyson along with her and hid inside her secret place in the closet.

"Okay Tyson, i need you to help me okay. Are you ready for an adventure?" she smiled at him.
