( a/n : I know I wrote that she was joining Harvard in the last chapter, But lets just skip that part shall we??) Four Years Later,On her Graduation Day. I saw my mom waiting for me in the crowd.It was Graduation day.Me and Lexie were obviously the top rankers of the school.It was the time when one of the student was supposed to give the speech and the teachers selected for me to to the speech.I had no idea so I dragged it on till the last minute.Finally the day before Graduation,Lexie and me sat down and wrote the freaking speech the whole night. " You ready y/n?" Lexie asked me. " Yeah let's go Lex.." I told her. Today was the big day. The day I graduate from Harvard. I was very nervous and scared about how will be alone for Four years. FOUR YEARS, Without my mom..But life gave me a replacement.. My best friend Lexie. Its kinda hard to imagine my life without her, now that we are graduating I am graduating... " OMG Lex, who did this to you?! Do I have to kill some one or something??" "No,No y/n! I got a phone call from back home.." " From Seattle?" I asked her. " Yeah.." "Okay.." "It was from my Dad.. He said that my mom died yesterday." Silence.I hugged her tightly. "Its gonna be ok,Lex.you have me,your dad,your sister.." Although I've never met Lexie's dad before, I've seen his photos.He "looked" as a nice guy. Lexie cried on my shoulder silently. "I'm leaving to Seattle today." "What?! I thought were going to do our residency together!"I literally screamed at her. You see, Me and Lex planned to do our residency in Massachusetts General Hospital, One of the best places to do residency in the country.Besides that's what my mom and the rest wants me to do. "I don't know..My dad said he wanted me to come back home.F-f-for the funeral." "Oh.." I said,calming down after a while. I already a lot of options right in front me.Literally, all the hospitals wanted to have me.So.. "I've decided something.I'm going to come to Seattle with you." She didn't say anything. "And I'm going to do my residency with you in Seattle!" "You serious? and what about your family?" " Yes,Lexie Grey I am serious.And I do not care what they are going to say!" "Oh my god! We are going to do our residency together!" She climbed up on the bed and we started jumping on the bed like little kids. "I'm going to Seattle with my friend Lexie and I'm gonna do my residency there." " y/n, Honey You know that you're dad is not going to allow you do that" "I don't care mom! All my life I've been doing what HE wants to do! I don't care what he thinks! I'm going to Seattle and he can't stop me doing that! I'm done with all of you! I am not coming home!"
