Chapter 5 - Suprised

Blaze's P.O.V

It was getting really dark and silver wasn't back yet I was starting to get a little worried, what if he is in trouble?! I start to sweat at the thought, if he was in trouble, I wouldn't be able to do crap about it cause I'm hurt. "I'm sure he is fine." I try to calm myself. I make my way to the door, I open it and walk out on the edge of our mountain that we call home, I sit at the ledge and start to impatiently wait. The hot night air touched my skin as it flowed through the darkness, only lit by the faint light of the lava down below, that's why this is the perfect home for us, it keeps us from the heat of the lava. It never really bothered me that much but, if I get to dangerously close I start to feel it. I'm sorta used to the heat with my fire power and all.

I'm broken in thought when I see Silver floating back to our house. His blue innocent yet fierce glow surrounding  his creamy white body against the harsh red beautiful flames twisting and twirling around him, it made my heart stop, this is the first time I actually check him out and he's actually pretty damn hot. By the time I snapped out of thought his foot glazed the edge of the rocky mountain ledge I was sitting on, he came to a stop like two inches above the ground and slowly hovered down in front of me, he looked more serious than normal, he didn't look like his usual happy optimistic self. It scared me a little, he looked intimidating.

He placed his hand slowly to my forehead. I looked at him questionably, "What are you doing?" He looked down at me, "Your face is so red, are you still feeling sick? Did you eat?" I look down even more embarrest because I knew I wasn't sick anymore, i was feeling fine, I must still be blushing from earlier. I look back up at his waiting face, "I'm fine really, oh and what in the hell were you at!? You had me worried sick! Don't just ditch me like that, I thought you were in trouble!" I said raising my voice a little, I looked him straight in the eye, he looked a little startled at the sudden loudness of my voice. "You were actually worried? Hah, i just went to go clear my head a bit, I was bored and I had nothing else to do, so I just wandered around for a while." He exclaimed as he took his hand off of my head.

"Anyway we should probably get some rest now." He said as he started walking towards the door, he paused right in front of it noticing I wasn't following, he looked back at me. "You coming?" He looked confused, "You seem off, like, you don't seem like yourself, does that make any sense? Did something happen?" I say knowing something is up, he stared at me confused, "what do you mean?" He says waiting for an answer, "Nevermind, I think I'm just tired, let's just get some sleep." I state yawning, he just nods and opens the door for me and we walk inside.

We head straight to our room we share and plop straight to our separate beds on each side of the room. I hear a faint "Night Blaze."  And reply with a "Night Silver."

After a couple hours later I realize I can't sleep, I've been thinking about silver the whole time, I glance over where he was sleeping, he looks like he was deep in slumber. I slowly pull the covers off of me and tip toe to where he was slumbering, I start to feel myself staring at his cute little sleeping face. I whisper to myself, "I'm being really creepy right now, but I don't care." I continue to look at him. I tap on his shoulder, he doesn't flinch. I tap him a little harder. Nothing. I shake him a little and I finally get a little mumble out of him, I shake him harder and he slowly opens his sleepy yellow eyes, "Blaze? What's wrong?" His tired voice is a little deeper and cracks a bit, i look at him and ask "Can I sleep with you?" It accendently slipped out if my mouth, I didn't really care though, I wanted to see his reaction.

His eyes grew wide and he sat up in his bed, his face completly red all of a sudden, "W-W-What?! D-Did you just say?!" He studdered, "I want to sleep with you, is that all right?" I say casually as I lift up the blanket to slide in with him, I could feel so much heat coming from his side of the tiny bed as I squeezed in still looking at him for his approval. "B-B-Blaze, why do y-you want to sleep with me all of a sudden?!" He trys to say a little more calmly but fails, I just simply say "Because I'm tired." He stares at me in disbelieve "That doesn't clear up why you want to sleep with me, but oh well." He looks away then back at me again and shyly says "you can sleep with me I g-guess." He lays his head back down still facing my direction, I lay down also, I curl up up to his chest and arms, I can feel him shake a little, and his body gives off a lot more heat than usual. I hear him whisper "I can't hold it back anymore." He wrapped his arms around my body tightly, and pulled my body out of the curled position and placed my head into his chest, he rest his chin on top of my head and hugged me in his warm imbrace, both of us blushing and giving off heat, we akwarkly but cutely fell asleep together for the first time.

Can't wait to explain myself in the morning...great, what did I get myself into.
