silas well... if you would like to understand this complex human being we'll have to take you a ways back. he grew up in upstate new york on an estate owned by his parents which had been handed down through and through. the first thing he did wrong was be born a male, as he's the middle of two siblings. the first being his older brother, his parents traditionally wanted a girl. they got it with his little sister, so naturally he was isolated from the family. though he doesn't remember much due to his own brain blocking out the trauma, he was regularly abused by his father. emotionally, physically, pretty much any way you could think. he has grown up to be the black sheep of the family, quiet, intelligent, reserved with a bit of a dark side. his mother had a soft spot for him but never put a stop to the abuse and only turned a blind eye. leading silas to resent his mother slightly. the male suffers from sleep paralysis, insomnia and recurring nightmares. essentially he had become a human vampire so when pursuing business he went into the nightclub scene and now owns one of the best in nyc
