When I woke up, I didn't see anybody around. I got up off the couch and went to the bathroom. After getting done, I brushed my hair and did my makeup, light. Once I was done and out of the bathroom, I went to the kitchen. By the stove was Danika and Steve, cooking together a chocolate cake for breakfast. I noticed Steve's arm was around her waist protectively. Danika was laughing at whatever joke he just had said. These two belong together. I don't think it will be easy to get them together publicly, though considering their acting very secretive about their love. I backed up out of the room quietly and made some noise by opening and closing the bathroom door. I started to hear ruckus as Danika and Steve were trying to scramble around so they weren't caught out of the ordinary. I walked into the kitchen to a ringing heard from my phone. I grabbed my phone from the table where I left it charging and looked at the screen saver. It was Trip. I answered it.
"Alexis here."
"Hey, Alexis. I was wondering if you want to go riding in my new freshly built stock car?"
"That's sounds like fun. I'll meet you in 10 minutes at the park?" I said, getting excited.
"See you soon, babe."
"I love you, Trip."
"I love you more, Alexis."
"I bet not. Bye"
"Bye." He then hanged up. I grabbed my leather jacket and sunglasses. I headed to the mudroom, and put my nice new black converse.
"Are you heading to lover boy's house now?" I turned around to Danika.
"He just got his stock car rebuilt and wants me to see it." I exclaimed, as I opened the door to the house.
"Remember. Keep it pg." She than slapped me lightly on the back, indicating that she was just teasing me. I rolled my eyes and headed out the door.
