Chapter 2~

We turned and drove into Crazy Dave's car dealer.

"Dad, what are we even doing here? I thought it was gonna be a small graduation present?" I asked.

"I want to give you a big present since your mom isn't able to."exclaimed Mike excitedly.

"But I'm only going to be here for like, a month before I leave to go to Hollywood and start filming."

"You know that you don't want me chaperoning you around for a whole month." He hands me $150.

"Happy Graduation, Lexi." He kisses me on the head and goes to look for Dave. I start looking over cars and getting into them trying them out. When I got to this one car, I knew it was the one. As I started up, a person comes up to me and jumps at me.

"Wha...?" I turn around and a girl about my age. With medium blonde hair and brown highlights. Is behind me looking at me like I might've gone nuts.

"I'm sorry, but what are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm so sorry. I was looking at this car. It looks like it would work out for me." I sai getting a closer look at it.

"I was just thinking about buying it actually. Hey, I think I might know you. What is your name? Mine is Dani. Short for Danika.

"Oh, I'm Alexis Rounds. Don't you work at the Dingo?"

"I used to, but the Socs took over it. It didn't work out anyways. The owner kept yelling at me to get him some more beer and just fuck him. So you're the sister of Ray Peyton?"

"Yeah. Step-sister. Maybe you'll find a better job? There's always hope." I said, looking for a different car.

"What car are you looking for?" asked Dani.

"I'm looking for a car that's just for show. Nothing fancy." I said, firmly. We ended up finding a car, a black '83 Volkswagen Beetle. I paid for the car and got in.

"It was nice to meet you, Dani. I hope we see more of each other soon. Here's my phone number." I handed it to her and said my goodbyes. Leaving to head to Ray's practice.
