Backpack? Check
Lunch? Check
Notebooks? Check. No wait they are at my locker.
Phone? Check

Ok let's go, I go down the stairs two by two. It is the first day back from winter break, and I will finally see Allie.

"Bye Kira!" I pet her. Dad and I went to the shelter and I went with a cocker spaniel, it reminds me of the movie Lady and the Tramp.

"Bye mom!" I said as I was closing the door.

"Hey neighbor." I say getting into his car. He finally can give me rides since he no longer has to go to school early, he told me he was in the track and field team and that the season was finally over.

"Hey. Ready?" He says putting the car on drive.

"Yes." I say.

We got there fast normally the bus takes longer of course. So I had nothing to do and Louis has went to talk with some of his friends. I go to my locker even though I will have to wait for Allie to come for a long time.

Next time I will take longer to get ready so this doesn't happen.

"Hey Hannah." Someone says and I turn around. It was Lucas.

"Lucas! How are you? How was your break?" I ask. He looks a bit tan, probably went to the beach.

"It was awesome. I went to the beach a lot since back in Ohio is never this sunny."

"That's cool. You like it here better then?"

"I think so. What about you? How was your break?"

"A lot happened. But overall fun my family came to visit, I really missed everyone. And..." I say giving it some suspense. "I got a puppy!"

"Really? I am happy for you."

"Yeah. Wanna see her?" I say getting my phone from my back pocket.

After showing them to him I see a brown headed girl coming over.

"Allie!" I say and she runs to hug me.

"Hannah! I missed you." After a bit of our little reunion I look at Lucas.

"Allie, this is Lucas. He is new, he came right after you left to China. And he is in our fifth period."

"Hi, nice to meet you! Where are you from?" Allie says smiling. I look at Lucas and he has small sparkles in his eyes, of course he likes her Allie is beautiful. Girls in this school all look the same but Allie is a mix she said 4 countries: Italian, American, Russian and French. Yeah weird but her mom is mix and dad too. So basically she has many different features.

I see Louis coming over since about 10 minutes before first period we all come to my locker to talk except Lucas this is his first time. I smile as he walks over and that puts a smile on his face.

"Hey Allie." He says and they hug. "You had fun over in China?" He asks and then greets Lucas.

"So much fun! I need to tell you all so many stories. And show you all the photos I took."

"Yeah." I smile. Life is perfect right now. Can it stay like this? Of course not Hannah.

"We are going to your house after school?" Allie asks me. I say yes.

"Girls need a ride?" Louis asks and Allie said yes please.

We then go to our classes I follow Lucas since we have the same first period.

The day went smoothly and hours later we were at my house. Allie and me, mom wasn't here yet but I know she will be excited to see that Allie is back. We play with Kira while she tells me about her trip. And later I tell her what happened with Louis. She was shocked when I told her about him leaving with his mom. And then the last thing about all this. I wasn't ready to say it but I did anyways.
