Mark didn't like the boy named Donghyuck at first. They had a rough start whenever it came to beating each other in finals during school. It didn't matter who was on top #1, they cared who scored the highest.

Of course, Mark wanted to continue to race him through things when he realized where his Haechan was going to attend for College.

"Yeah, it's not a big deal," he said.

"You can't!" Mark spoke suddenly.

"Why not?! It's my life, Mark!" Donghyuck yelled back, walking away. Truth was, Mark just had devolped a small crush on the boy, he wanted to continue to see Donghyuck, not just racing him.

Mark never told him that he, himself was a vampire.

"I don't know why you are so against vampire hunters, geez. They save lives, Mark," Donghyuck spat.

"I just don't want you to hurt anyone..." Mark mumbled shyly.

Usually when you set your eyes on someone, for Vampires, your human lover would be claimed as yours when you first bite them. Scientists still don't understand how you can set your eyes on a human, it just happens. That's why Vampire scientists and Human scientists are still in the midst of researching throughly for it.

"Well, Mark, I don't care what you say. I'm going. It'll be nice to get away from you," Donghyuck said.

"I'm going home, bye," Donghyuck said, walking off.

Mark stared at the boy. He wished he was human. He didn't like being a vampire. He hated it. He wanted to love Donghyuck like humans would.

But, you know, Human x Vampire relationships. (In this Au that I fucking made up), they have higher chances of being and staying together, kind of like soulmates.

"I wish I was born human..." Mark thought. That was one of the reasons, to get Hyuck to like him back. But, the other reason was that... He didn't want Donghyuck to leave him after finding out that he was a vampire. That's why Mark pretends to eat human food, only to throw up afterwards. He can't disgust them that well.

He also would always go home hungry all the time, that's why Mark has his own personal fridge that he hides inside. His parents always kept foods in the fridge, since Mark is a half, but he is born full vampire. It's just the DNA shows that he is a half. But Mark only drinks blood.

Mark got ready for college as his roommate, Yuta was already at work. He wanted to see Donghyuck again, he didn't have classes anymore but he got busted again.

Later that day, Donghyuck yelled at him over the phone, Mark ignored whatever he said. Donghyuck can't stop him from seeing him, he practically has a crush on him.

Well, that is, if Donghyuck would ever feel the same.
