You have drunk down all death, grown tender and been broken.
HAWKINS, INDIANA. NOVEMBER SIXTH, NINETEEN EIGHTY THREE.
The night that Will Byers goes missing. The night that three children escape from Hawkins National Laboratory.
Three children with powers pulled right out of a preteen's comic book. Time distortion, replication, telekinesis. It was like they were mutants, starting their journey to join the X-Men. Only, this wasn't a comic book. This was reality.
Having spent the majority of their lives inside the lab, being tested on and treated like lab rats, the children have had enough. Leaving destruction and bodies in their wake, they escape into the night, painting targets on their backs.
While they try to navigate this strange new environment, they have to be wary of those who want to recapture them. Their father figure, the government, the police. All searching for strange children that shouldn't exist.
Also on the hunt for them is a bloodthirsty monster, one that terrorizes the townsfolk and holds a young Will Byers hostage in its domain.
God help the Hawkins Three.
