A week later in the tower. Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air awoken to the sunlight of the tower window. Earth groaned and said, uurrhh...Wind please close the window I'm trying to sleep. Air yawned and said, it's morning anyway guys...Time to get ready. Wind got up as Earth said as he yawned, man keeping trespassers from entering our tower last night is hard work. Earth replied as he stretched, your telling me..that minion fox of that idiot of an overlord nearly discovered us. Fire said as she stretched, ya know mum said we can't set foot outside the tower for obvious reasons. Wind replied, I know but it was the only way to keep intruders out by placing those fake signs outside I mean you guys did all the work but me I couldn't set foot outside without getting my spikes loose or anything. Earth said with a sigh, which is precisely why I stayed by you Wind and why the girls did the rest of the work...besides your long spikes are the only way in and out of the tower. Air butted in, we also have to get some food in case we ran out...besides Fire's power was actually good use for hunting. Wind couldn't argue with that as the four of them got dressed. Earth asked, shouldn't you two go look for mom since your always out?? Wind said, Earths right why couldn't you both go look for her? Fire said in concern, whoa bad idea...don't you remember what happened the last time we did that?

Air and Fire were in the woods that is close to the village looking for their mom. Air whispered, Fire do you see her anywhere? Fire whispered, no.. they keep looking until they see Sticks and her three new team members (the alternate Tails, Knuckles, and Amy). Fire whispered, shoot looks like that fox is not alone...but we gotta be careful mum said he's dangerous as these people. Tails briefly noticed them which spooked them and ran away. Sticks asked after they ran off, what's wrong with you? Tails replied, I coulda sworn I saw someone in the woods.

Wind sighs and said, oh that's right...but we need to remember what Mum said... that's when the four of them said, be hidden in the shadows no matter what and never trust any outsiders. Wind looked outside and thought, I hope your okay mum? Earth places a hand on his brothers shoulders and whispered, I know your worried brother...but I'm sure she's okay out there. Wind whispered, ...hopefully.
