Nararator POV
"WHAT?!" They all screamed. Tiffany had just told them that the cast and some producers were going to be there and ran off. They'd be at the charity event. The one they've all been preparing months for.
"Okay, okay, okay. WHAT?!" Wendy screeched. "This is a dream, this is not happening!" She jumped up from off the couch and ran to her room. "What am I going to wear!" She says fumbling through her suitcases.
"Do you think they'll show up at the soundcheck?" Josh asks, making them think.
'Would they actually show up to the sound check?' They thought.
"I dunno, but if they do, we have to make a memorable first impression." Kevin tells. "Good or bad?" Y/N taunts, remembering how many of their first impressions were bad ones.
"I'm gonna go find something nice to wear," Kevin says making his way to his room.
"Because you want to look presentable if they show up?" Josh points out his plan, causing Kevin to just rush out quicker without giving an answer.
"Are you going to go get dressed again now that we have this crucial piece of information?" Josh asks Y/N who shook her head. "It doesn't really matter to me, they'll see us tonight anyways."
"Okay, whatever you say." She rolls her eyes. "Besides, they'll see everything and everyone, all dressed up and fancy tonight anyways."

It had been almost an hour and a half since Tiffany left the room. Wendy and Y/N decided to head down before everyone to see what the place looked like and if they needed any help with setting up. They walked into a spacious banquet hall that had a few employees already setting things up.
There were many tables that were covered with white tablecloths, and had small vases of peonies for the centerpieces. There were also cocktail tables covered with the same tablecloths but were tied with a gold ribbon to keep it gathered.
The two girls were excited to see the room coming together as the planners and employees continued to decorate and set up. They made our way to the small stage that was centred on one of the walls towards the back. There, they saw one of the employees that they've worked with on many occasions, such as last night.
Keith was busy setting up the stage and was carrying a clear podium onto the stage. There were fresh flower baskets placed at the edge of the stage that added more colour to the dull area.
"Are you guys excited for your performance later?" They heard Keith ask, as he adjusted the small microphone on the podium.
"Mmhh.. Yeah we are, especially now since we just found out the Avengers cast and some producers will be there." Wendy gushed. "And the directors." Keith added, making Wendy squeal as her grip on Y/N's arm tightened.
They spent the rest of their time helping everyone set up. They finished placing all the centrepieces and setting the tables. The chairs were set up on the stage and speakers were checked and working.
As Y/N was going over the set list, everyone started to come in, with Tiffany and the other managers coming in last.
They got out their instruments and hooked up the microphones around each other. They then went through a few warm ups and started to go through the setlist. They stopped a few times as Tiffany and the band coach Henry, who helped make the arrangements, gave a few reminders and pointed out where they needed to focus on more.
Finally, they made it through the few songs they had prepared, and a special little surprise everyone had planned for the end of their little show. They were all talking and admiring the almost finished banquet hall, when they heard the door close.
"Someone leave?" A girl putting away her clarinet asks. Jennie was her name. Everyone shrugged and didn't notice anyone come in or go out. Oh well.
"Okay everyone! Don't forget our dress code for tonight is formal. Does everyone remember what their colour match is?" Everyone nodded. "Good, you're all free to go, but remember to check in with your managers an hour before we head down here so around 8 o'clock later tonight."
♡
Everyone walked out of the banquet hall, as they were still preparing for tonight. The two girls decided to walk around outside and grab a bite with some of their lablemates and friends, Lisa and Minnie. They walked around before stopping at a small french pastry shop.
'La Crème de la Crème'
The inside was quite spacious, giving a summer in Paris feel. There were many little souvenirs and trinkets that seemed to have come from France, and they had many alluring oil paintings hanging on the brick walls that tied everything in.
They ordered their drinks and a couple small pastries to snack on. Lisa got a creme brûlée, Minnie got chocolate mousse, Wendy got some cream puffs, and Y/N got a chocolate-raspberry souffle. The four girls sat at the back and chatted while more customers started to flood in.
Soon after, they left finishing their treats and roamed the lively midday streets. Walking into small shops and boutiques, buying a few accessories and souvenirs. They bought a few items, and continued to walk around window shopping.
After a while, they made it back to the hotel, and parted ways with the two girls. Y/N and Wendy walked into the cold and empty hotel room, and made their way to the living room. Wendy turned on the tv, a rerun of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' was playing.
"You gonna get ready for tonight?"
"It's only 3:42, Y/N. It's still early." She replied as she shifted on the couch.
♡
The girls watched Maze Runner and The Pianist, but Y/N kept falling in and out of sleep during the last 20 minutes. She heard a door close and sat up to see Josh coming out of his room, and making his way to the kitchen. Checking her phone, she saw that it was already 7:16.
"You guys seemed tired so I didn't wake you."
"Oh. Where's Kevin?"
"Sleeping, like Wendy." She turned her head to see the girl passed out on the couch, probably tired from her mini shopping spree earlier today.
"I'm going to go take a shower and get ready. You better wake those two up by 7:30." She warned him not wanting to be late to the event. "Yeah, yeah. Go on now."
♡
After taking a shower and drying her hair, she slipped into the long sleeved burgundy dress she had chosen weeks prior to this event. She styled her hair and did her makeup, before slipping into her black suede ankle strap heels and making her way to the living room to wait.
To her surprise, both Josh and Kevin were sitting there waiting for her and Wendy.
Josh was wearing a deep blue tux, with a white dress shirt underneath, as Kevin was wearing a deep red coloured tux and a black bow tie to match.
She sat down with them, as they were all waiting impatiently for Wendy. Checking her phone, 8:37 flashed onto the screen. Y/N yelled for Wendy to hurry up, only to be answered with a quick, 'almost ready' coming from her room.
She finally came out strutting a lacy dark blue dress that just reached right above her ankles.
"Time for the show"
