madelline's phone kept on buzzing by her pockets as she drove quickly. jasper sat patiently by the side, sending calming waves to her direction every now and then even though he, himself, was very much worried as well for his friend.
"god, if we could just speed over to that fucking town, we would have been there already" madelline grumbled, feet hitting on the gas overtaking many cars ahead.
"relax darling, we'll be there in five minutes. because of your driving, we're twenty minutes ahead of our supposed arrival" jasper reassured her, placing a hand on her thigh.
madelline let out a sigh, feeling herself calm down against her husband's touch. she drove calmly along the way yet maintaining the ridiculous over the speed limit.
as she saw the sign of the town, she could immediately feel the relief crawling to her.

"caroline said they're in the school" jasper informed her as soon as he took out madelline's phone out of her pocket.
she stopped her car by the side, just near some place that has led lights just right outside saying, mystic grill. she nodded in approval but she didn't have time to visit a bar so she quickly unfasten her seatbelt with jasper doing the same.
as soon as they got out of the car, they used their vampire speed towards where caroline was. madelline's runes tingles as she hears a commotion coming from the school. her worried increased along with her speed so she could save her friend.
caroline forbes, a blonde vampire that she met right at new york with her mother. she didn't knew she was gonna get attached with her nor get close to the vampire but things changed and now, they've become friends - caroline was like a little sister madelline never had and she cherished her so much.
caroline was part of the esclavos del sol which is a kind of vampire that is a slave to the sun. after being turned to a vampire, they can't be under the sun without burning themselves and could possibly lead them to their death but with the help of a lapiz lazuli and a witch, a spell can be made for them to be a daywalker.
she and jasper stop as soon as the sight of people sauntering over the young looking people who was wearing a graduation cap and toga.
"seriously? in their graduation? that's a low blow!" madelline exclaimed to jasper, enraged at the fact that they're trying to kill students at their special day.
the two sped over to the graduation caps that were lying around and threw them with accuracy, slicing their heads of clean. but to their shock, there was another graduation cap that was thrown as well. madelline looked over her shoulder only to be greeted by a man with a sandy blonde hair and plump lips, she furrowed her eyebrows but only shook her head and walked away even though there was a sense of familiarity bubbling inside of her.
"there's plenty of this to go around" madelline remarked, holding a graduation cap on her hands while smirking at jasper who did the same.
"madelline!" caroline exclaimed, running over to her before giving her a bear hug.
klaus looked at the back figure of the brunette girl who hugged caroline, a sense of familiarity washed over to him and it was strong.
