Trigger warning: You might find this disturbing.
"Mom! is it true that eyes cast spells?"
The mother looked at her little one and grinned. They seemed to be starving for an answer that might not make any difference at all. Their big eyes irritated the mother. "Why do children have those eyes?!?" she screamed in her head. "I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them-""Mom?"
The mother sighed, and cupped her little one's face, and said, "If I told you it's true...Are you going to cast a spell on someone?"
Her little one giggled and said, "I'm going to cast a spell on you, mom!" The mother's expression grew glum.
"Why me?" She said with her lifeless voice."Your eyes...I noticed whenever you look at people with this look; people grow afraid of you...Even me. I wish you to get new ones." Her little one shivered in fear, and their eyes were about to burst with tears.
"Ah...so if I get a new pair of eyes...People will like me?"The mother looked offended. She opened the drawer next to her bed and grabbed her sewing kit.
"Hey you, Get me a tissue box and a spoon."
Her little one hesitated for a bit.
"Now!"
the little one cried and apologized before running to getting the things their mother asked them to get.The mother took out her mirror and studied her face carefully.
"You pitiful thing..."Her little one arrived and put the tissue box and spoon on the bed. "W-what are y-you g-g-g-going to d-do, Mother-r?" The mother grinned and held the spoon in her hand.
"What do you think I'm going to do?"The mother abruptly shoved the spoon in her eye and groaned in pain. She moved it aggressively, cutting all the nerves attached to it and finally...pop! Her eye fell on her silk dress.
"MOM! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Her little one started crying. The mother smiled. "I'm helping you grant your wish, dear. Is this not what you want?"
Words couldn't escape the little one's mouth. The mother then proceeded to do the same to her other eye. She now has two extra holes in her face. She held her eyes in her palm and put them in the tissue box."Do I look less scary now?"
"Are you still afraid of me?"
"WHY ARENT YOU SAYING ANYTHING?!?"Her little one ran from the sight of their crazy mother. They reached the stairs and unfortunately tripped on one of the stairs and twisted their neck and knees. They remained on that damned stairs and cried for help with their weak voice but their voice couldn't be heard by anyone. Their body started to rot and many insects found a home in that small rotten body. They built a whole city there.
What about their mother?Their mother sewed the mirror on her face and never left her room.
God knows what she's up to...
