"WAKE UP, billy!" georgie charged at bill.

the younger male continuously jumped on his older bother's bed, causing bill to groan as he covered his face with both of his hands. "g-go away, georgie." bill weakly told the smaller boy, sitting up and pushing him off his bed. "ow!" georgie exclaimed. "whatever. we have to leave for the airport soon." the boy tells bill, glaring at him as he leaves his room.

bill rubs his eyes, leaving his vision blurry for a second before his baby blue eyes adjusts to the morning sun. he pushes himself out off bed, his pajamas shorts riding up slightly; bill pulls them down. while walking over to his blinds to fully open them, bill hears the rambling of the new yorkers outside roaming the streets. ugh. he thinks to himself. can never get some quiet in this city.

the boy makes his way to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. the plane ride would only be less than 1 hour, but he still wanted to look pleasant. he had always dreamed of leaving the big city, and hoped that he could leave looking pretty. brushing his teeth and washing his face was an easy task, and he finished both in no time.

his long fingers lightly grazed over the yellow fabric, and he grabbed the skirt with both hands, sliding it up his slender legs. bill slipped on a comfortable white shirt with a collar around his neck. the waistband of the skirt secured his shirt in place, showing off his frame perfectly. a smile made its way to his face and bill twirls around once in his newly bought skirt, feeling better about himself already.

"bill! we have to go now!" his mother yells from the living room. the boy jerks his head towards his door, and the panic starts setting in. as quickly as he could, bill packed his chargers, toiletries, remaining clothes, and his laptop into his bag, shoving it so quickly he had no time to organize everything. swiftly, he zips his bag shut, hanging it over one shoulder and he exits his room being greeted by his dad. "william." his father starts. "are you sure you want to wear that to the airport?" he asks, perking one eyebrow while skimming over his outfit. "yuh-yeah, what's wrong w-with it?" the auburn haired boy responded, walking over to the door to put his clean white shoes on. "uh, bill. everyone is going to see you. they're going to see that you're my son." mr. denbrough replies, starting to tick off bill as he was not having it already. he rolls his blue eyes, grabbing his suitcase and opening the door, walking out and leaving the rest of his family inside.

"what did i tell you about talking to him like that?" his mother harshly spoke to his father, grabbing her own suitcase and putting her shoes on. "don't make me leave new york on a bad note." she turns the lights off, holding georgie's hand and walking out the door to catch up with bill. zack denbrough stays in place for a cold second, processing what just happened and then grabbing his own items, turning around to look at their empty apartment. "this is going to be one hell of a ride." he whispers to himself, closing the door behind him and walking towards the elevator.

"..yeah! b-but he can keep it t-to himself!" bill complains to his mother as he fidgets nervously with the hem of his skirt. when he feels his father's presence near him, he sighs and subtly turns his back towards him. "how's m-my hair?" the boy asks his mom, pulling on light blue part of his hair. "they seem perfectly fine to me. we can either dye your whole hair again or cut them off. your choice." she sweetly smiles at bill, resting her hand on his shoulder. "i'll l-leave it like this." bill responds, waiting for the elevator to arrive at their floor. "can i get hair like bill?" the short blonde male asks his mom, tugging at her shirt as he looks at her with pleading eyes. "his hair is so cool!" georgie throws his arms up in the air and bill smiles at his little brother.

"no, georgie. not until you're 16." their father replies with a stern look on his face. bill hides his disappointment and mentally curses at him, clenching his grip around the handle of his suitcase tightly and gritting his teeth. the elevator arrives, and they enter, creating an awkward tension in the little space. "your outfit looks really nice today." sharon denbrough speaks up, winking at her eldest son. "th-thanks." he quietly replies, counting the numbers above the elevator buttons.

all four exit the elevator, walking outside of the lobby to hail a cab. zack denbrough waves his arms and a yellow car pulls over, quickly glancing at bill and his outfit. the seating goes as normal - father in the front, and the rest in the back. bill puts his earphones in, connecting it to his phone as he goes into his music app to choose the song he wanted to listen to. georgie was climbinb on top of his mothers lap to look outside, sighing. "is your son, or daughter, transgender?" the man next to his dad asks him, looking at bill from the rear view mirror of the car. "surprisingly, no. he's just always been that way." the other man replies. "oh, so he's just a faggot." the taxi man nods his head, turning his head back so that he could focus on the street. bill's father laughs a little at the response, and the auburn haired boy internally screams and implode. he quickly turns the volume up, silencing everything else around him.

"how does it feel having a kid dress like that? i'd never let my son wear it." the old man curiously asks bill's father, constantly eyeing bill from the rear view mirror. "i hate it, to be honest. but his mother keeps telling me to let him wear what he wants, so i try not to pick on him too much. of course i hope he doesn't influence our youngest, though. gotta have at least one actual man." zack denbrough replies, sourly smiling at bill.
