Business trip for two weeks?

Jeno ended the called immediately after I heard his raise of tone. He looked at me and sighed. He opened the car door and I went in, buckling my seatbelt right away. Jeno headed to the driver's seat and got in, then proceeding to start the engine of the car.

The drive on the way to my place was quiet. I couldn't tell what Jeno wanted to say or what he was thinking. Once we arrived, that's when he spoke up.

"You must've heard that I'm going on a business trip", Jeno said, his head turning to me. "It'll last two weeks. I've been over the moon the past few weeks whenever I'm with you. Of course, nothing ever stays happy."

"Yeah", I awkwardly said.

"I'm hoping one day you'll be able to reciprocate the same feelings that I have", Jeno sighed. "My father said patience will never get you anywhere. Patience to him was the reason why people lose chances. I'm ready to prove him wrong, because I have you. You're someone I'd be forever patient with."

Jeno carefully held my hand and looked at me in the eye.

"My flight leaves at midnight after all my meetings", he informed me. "When I come back from the business trip, I want to hear your answer to the questions I'll be asking you. I want to give you a lot of time to think about it."

Jeno paused for a bit.

"Can I be your boyfriend?", he asked. "Can you be the person I'll love for the rest of my life?"

"Jeno..."

"I said I want to hear your answer when I come back", Jeno bitterly smiled. "Think about it. Don't let it trouble your thoughts though."

"If that's what you want", I said and pulled my hand away from Jeno's. "I'll think about it."

I was about to leave the car, but I forgot to say something.

"Take care, Jeno. Don't skip meals", I said before closing the door.

I made my way to my place, but was stopped by the landlady.

"Yes?", I asked.

"You paid the rent but I'm afraid starting three weeks later, you need to move", she explained. "I sold the place to a college boy who promised to pay on time."

"But I can pay—"

"I'm sorry but I made the deal already", she said. "You're lucky that I'm giving you three weeks to find a place."

She left without saying another word and I was beyond stressed. I entered my place and sat down on the mattress on the floor, thinking about what I should do. Luckily, we didn't have much things so it would be easy to move.

"Should I buy a place near the hospital?", I asked myself. "I really can't think of anything."

I had my graduation soon and I needed to focus on many things and I was good at multitasking but I was stressed with everything. I decided to text someone who I didn't get to talk to as much these days because he's so busy.
