2- The balcony

Yoongi glanced up at the window above him for what seemed like the thousandth time that night, wondering if she was there.

Isopel. The sad girl that lived above him.

He only knew her name because of his friend Kim Namjoon, who had stalked her online once. Turns out Namjoon's little brother, Taehyung, was best friends with her next-door neighbor, Park Jimin.

And yet they had never once talked. Yoongi really wanted too, but whenever he saw isopel he never knew what to say.

He wanted to say hi. Be her friend. Be there to comfort her instead of letting her cry herself to sleep like she did almost every night. But he couldn't muster up the courage to start a conversation with her.

So every night, he'd stand on his balcony and wait. Wait until he heard her start to sniffle. And he'd stand there with his cigarettes until he couldn't hear her anymore.

He thought if he couldn't actually be there for her, maybe being right underneath her window every night would do something.
