Chapter 4 Claud and Steve's artifact

" Hey Steve why are we always The B Team? I mean when will we get the spotlight. Pete and Myka always get to have more fun than we do." Claudia said." I don't know. What do you think this artifact is? I mean it could be anything. And what were you Pete, And Myka doing at 3 in the morning?"Steve said. " I was stealing Pete's morning sandwich. And Myka is usually reading or helping Pete get his sandwich back."

The two were completely side tracked from the job they were supposed to be doing.Claudia and Steve were talking in the car." OMG! Do you think they would be go together?"Claudia said startling Steve." Excuse me? Do you mean Myka and Pete? I think they would be great together." Steve said. "I didn't know you had a thing for gossip Jinksy." Just then Claudia's Farnsworth rang. " Its Artie! Crap. We forgot all about the case." Claudia said. They both answered the Farnsworth." Hello they both said in unison." How's it going on getting the artifact?" Artie said through the Farnsworth." We haven't been looking because we got side tracked. Sorry" Steve said.

"Why does no one listen to me any more?"Artie said. And with that he hung up his Farnsworth.

Within a few minutes the two were on the search for the artifact that had caused people to lose their bones." I for one think we have a better case than suicides. At least this one has more action. And grossness."stated Jinksy.

"Well I think it is very desturbing but very exciting." Claudia said. While they were hunting for the artifact they were walking on a mostly abandoned street when they heard a shrivel if screams. Each had a Tesla in hand and walked towards the screams. They found a lifeless pile of human skin."I think I'm going to throw up" exclaimed Steve. Claudia nodded to show she agreed."We need to find this artifact before it does anymore damage.
