Why Them?

"Yeji," Lia pulled Yeji out of the meeting room and into the hallway, "Yuna hasn't been sleeping for the past three days."

"I know...I've tried to get her to sleep, but she won't."

"I understand wanting to know who kidnapped you and her, but she needs to take a break. She even got Ryujin involved."

Yeji sighed, "I'll go talk to her again."

Yeji went up to Yuna's bedroom, finding her and Ryujin busy. Yeji tapped on Ryujin's shoulder, signalling her to leave.

"Yeji!" Yuna whined.

"Let Ryujin go Yuna. I don't want Lia to be pissed off." Yeji sat down on Yuna's bed beside her. "Now what's going on?"

"Well, I probably should've told you, but since I woke up first I heard them mention Minnie." Yuna explained, rubbing her eyes. "What if the boss that those two men worked for is the same person who hurt Minnie?"

Yeji nodded in response as she listened to Yuna ramble on and on.

"I just don't understand why they picked us. I mean, we don't even know what they wanted with us." Yuna finished.

"Well, Miyeon is our boss Yuna." Yeji said, "They probably wanted something from her."

"Yeah but-."

"Besides, Miyeon already has a suspect, along with two other people."

"And what if one of those suspects was the boss?"

"It's highly possible."

"Then I need to find out-!"

Yeji cupped Yuna's face, "You need to rest Yuna, we're all worried for you. Chaeryeong can continue your research and when you wake up, you can help. You've done a lot Yuna, I'm proud."

"...Okay, I'll get some rest." Yuna nodded in defeat.

"Good, thank you." Yeji stood up, and cleaned up the papers on the floor, setting them down on Yuna's desk. "Get some rest Yuna."

"I will." Yuna nodded before Yeji left.

Yeji closed the door and found Chaeryeong leaning against the wall.

"Finally convinced her to sleep?" Chaeryeong questioned the older one.

"Yeah, finally." The two started walking side by side. "I need you to continue her research."

"Got it, what exactly was she looking for?"

"The boss of those two men."

"Ah, I see. What do you plan on doing?"

"Contacting Miyeon," Yeji answered. "Telling her what Yuna had heard, along with finding out who the suspects are."

The two split off, and Yeji went to her room to contact Miyeon.

"You're saying that whoever kidnapped you is one of my suspects?" Miyeon questioned.

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying."

"Look Yeji, Jihyo told me that they were all with her that day."

Yeji sighed into the speaker, "Miyeon, how do you know? For all you know-."

"One, Jihyo would never lie Yeji." Miyeon said, "And two, Tzuyu confirmed it and you know she can't lie."

"Right...it's just, Yuna, hasn't been sleeping because she wants to know who the boss was."

"We'll find who the boss was Yeji, don't worry. Did you convince her to rest?"

"Yeah, after three days that is."

"I'll talk to Jihyo when I can."

"Alright, thank you Miyeon."

"No problem Yeji."
