Chapter 4: Shocked

Storm

I was shocked but not surprised. I knew that Nashi looked like Natsu and Lucy. And when Mira looked shocked proved it.

I was mainly shocked that Nashi ran away. She didn't ran into her parents arms or anything, she just ran away.

Lucy and Natsu were still shocked. I didn't know they had another daughter, but they explained to the rest of us that they had a daughter before Luke and Layla but someone took her after they got out of the hospital.

They been looking for her for seventeen years but had no luck.

After they explained, I went out to look for Nashi.

Nashi

I couldn't believe it. Are they really my parents?

I ran into the woods by the guild. I kept running until I ended up at a cliff that was hanging over water.

I sat down. I tried to calm down, so I started singing a song I wrote.

"I'm not a stranger to the dark
Hide away, they say
Cause we don't want your broken parts
I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars

No one'll love you as you are"

I took a breath and continued softly.

"But I won't let them break me down to dust
I know that there is a place for us
For we are glorious

When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown 'em out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be, this is m-"

I quickly stopped when I heard noise coming from behind me.

"Why'd you stop?" I recognized the voice. It was Storm.

I didn't answer his question. I just looked out to the sky and kept silent.

I heard Storm walk over and sit next to me.

"Why did you run?" He asked.

"I was shocked and scared. I never knew anything about my parents or if I even had any. I was raised in the Dragon Realm, raised by the celestial dragon, Celestia.
She said she found me when I was just a baby. She took me to the Dragon Realm and raised me to become the queen. I was just crowned queen a few hours ago, when the dark dragon, Acnologia, attacked us. Celestia then sent me here, to Earthland." I told him.

He was silent before he asked me another question.

"What was that song you were singing?"

It took a moment for me to answer.

"It's called, 'This is me'. And I wrote it." I said shyly.

"Well I thought it was a beautiful song." He said.

I looked over to see him blushing.

He then looked at me.

"Shall we go back?" He asked.

I nodded.

He then took my hand and helped me up.

"Then let's go." He said smiling at me.
