After agreeing to the human's proposal, she immediately grabbed my wrist and began to drag me somewhere. I flinched at the contact, but followed nonetheless.

After around 10 minutes, we both stopped in front of a large looking club with huge glass doors, multiple neon signs saying that they were open. I looked up at the name of the club, squinting at the letters. Ben's Faeries. Hm, interesting. I looked away from the sign, and instead began to peer into the tinted windows. The only thing I could really make out were the many poles spread throughout the club. I backed away and turned back to the human next to me. I watched as she brushed off any dirt on her black jeans before opening the door and dragging me inside.

Holy shit, there's a lot of people in here.

I immediately tensed up and tried to hide behind the girl as we walked. It wasn't that hard because of my short stature, and I was thankful for that. I still kinda looked like shit, and I didn't want anyone to notice my markings.

I watched as we approached a shorter woman with fiery red hair talking to some other people. Based off of the colorful wings protruding from her back, I assumed she was a fae of some sort. The girl in front of me called her over, and explained to her the situation. I didn't really pay attention to the conversation, I was too busy staring at some guy using a pole in the back corner. I couldn't see much from where I was standing, but I could tell that he knew what he was doing.

I hadn't realized that I had been caught staring, and next thing I knew I heard a loud voice yell from behind me.

"BIG AN' TALL! Get yar sexy arse ovah here! We's gots a new person!"

I flinched at the loud noise, and turned to where the voice yelled.

And I saw that the guy I was staring at was jogging this way. The closer he got, the more I realized how tall he was. By the time he was in front of us, he towered over me. His long hair was in a messy bun, and I could see his bare chest through the fishnet shirt he was wearing. I quickly looked away as to not seem weird, only catching the last bit of the conversation the others were having.

"-o what's your name?" The man in front of me asked.

"Delta," I responded, looking up at him.

"Delta, that's a nice name, my name is Elijah. So, you wanna work here, huh?"

I didn't know how to respond, so I just nodded in agreement.

Elijah then gently pushed my back, deciding to show me around. I just silently followed along.

After a small tour of the place, Elijah and I finally stopped in front of one of the poles.

"So got any questions?" He asked.

I didn't have any involving the club, but I still needed a place to stay tonight. I don't know if he'll be able to help, though.

"Whatever you need man, I'm here."

Ya know what, might as well ask.

"Is there a place for the workers to stay?" I asked.

He looked shocked at my question, but then regained his composure.

"Do you not have a place to stay?"

After seeing me shake my head, he then spoke again.

"Guess you're coming home with me then," he said with a smile on his face.

I stared at him with wide eyes, not believing what I had heard. Did he just offer to let me stay with him? I can't believe it!

Elijah flashed me another smile, before excusing himself and heading back to his assigned pole. I decided to watch him again, and took a seat on the floor near the stage. I was amazed with how he was able to spin and twist around the pole so gracefully with his height. It was truly captivating to watch him.

----------------------------------------------

I had zoned off after a few hours, and was only snapped out of it when a large hand reached out to me in front of my face.

"Hey Delta, it's time to head home," Elijah said.

I looked up at him, his outfit from earlier now replaced with a pair of jeans and a grey t-shirt. He was bent down a little, his hand outstretched for me to take.

Gingerly, I took it, and slowly rose to my feet. I wobbled a little as I stood, my legs somewhat asleep, before finally standing up straight.

"You good?"

     I only nodded in response.

"Alright, let's go then."

Without letting go of my hand, he began to lead me out of the club and onto the busy streets. He then led me to a large apartment complex a few blocks away and leading me inside and up to the 5th floor. He then stopped us in front of a door and whipping out a set of keys, proceeding to unlock the door. After he did so, he gently pushed the door open for me, ushering me inside. I slowly walked in, beginning to look around. I then turned around at the sound of Elijah closing the door behind us.

Elijah then smiled at me again before speaking.

"Welcome home, Delta."

I could get used to his smile.
