Jesus christ this took long enough... I hope you guys forgive me for being inactive for too long and with this long ass chapter, sorry no action for now but rest assured I'll do better.
I'm trying to get myself used in conversations with this chapter and to put some characters with Leopard, Marvin, Bry, Mother, and Firefly to the best of my abilities rather than one-off characters.
The original draft was 2k-something thousand words long with lots of dialogue between McCready and Leopard fucking around and tossing insults but I thought the chapter was dragging too much and I had to cut all of their banter off the story and switch to the next chapter.
I promise the next chapter will be action-oriented as my attempt to make firefights and sorry for the long read but I feel like the long explanations are important for the future chapters going forward.
And don't worry... Fanservice and comedy themed chapters and short chapters are still happening just need to establish the fucked up world of arknights and Girls frontline.
I'm just planning to show the sad state of the world and its own bloody history with bite-sized lore from the biased point of view McCready since he's our unreliable narrator of this story.
With the two game's main plot being the main focus of the story that I'm following very loosely as I'll take liberties to change small story plot-points while trying to stay somewhat true to the characters and their personalities.
Also trying to keep the World somewhat the same as ours on some parts... I dunno TBH :P
