Today was awfully eventful, You had spent countless hours working all day tirelessly throughout the manor cleaning, making preparations and tending to the earl's demands which frustrated you immensely. Every hour felt like an eternity to you, a growing pain had started to spread throughout your body and as time slipped by the pain only worsened making every movement you made unbearable. You endured this trying hardly not to show an ounce of discomfort to the others as you didn't want to become a bother as today everyone in the manor probably felt exhausted like you and it wouldn't be fair for you to be the only one to rest.

Alas it was clearly visible to Sebastian that you needed some time to collect yourself as it was obvious that you weren't in tip top shape so he granted you with an exception. Finally, you had been given a fair amount of time to rest, forty five minutes to be exact. You really needed to take your mind of work, the stress and pressure as well as the feelings you kept hidden for Sebastian had become overwhelming and relaxation was the only medicine to cure it.

It was beginning to dawn and the sun had began its descent making it the perfect time for you to head outside and take your mind off of everything, enjoying the light warmth of the sun's scintillating spectacle. You made your way towards the garden of the manor slowly descending the stairs in an attempt to not pressure your legs even more. You turned a corner seeing the door leading to the outside and headed near it, opening the large copper doors sealing the entrance and slowly stepping onto the concrete, there was a light breeze amidst the warmth and the sensation made your joints ease. You paced over to the steps leading down and decided to sit on one to admire the beauty of the garden and sky, you took a deep relaxing breath and inhaled the sweet scent of flowers.

       The trimmed green grass has been adorned with elegant rose bushes with each rose having their own unique trait, it was the mid season of spring birds could be heard chirping within the nearby forest. The scene was delighting and it calmed your nerves

"I wish I could do this all the time..", you sighed to yourself.
The bushes casted dark shadows behind them and hiding within those shadows you glanced over to see a charming feline staring at you innocently. The first thought that came to mind was Sebastian, it's amber eyes glistened slightly reminding you of this crimson ones. The cat suddenly got up and started dashing towards you and landed on your lap surprising you, it purred as it buried its face into your lap making you display a small smile before gently placing your hand onto its resting body, it's soft black fur and cute fluffy ears made you warm up inside.

You continued to stroke the loveable creature as thoughts of the man you loved dearly started to come into mind, it had been over a year since you started working for the earl of phantomhive as both a guard and house maid. It took some time adjusting to your new lifestyle but thanks to Sebastian's support you were able to fully commit to the cause, not long after you started to feel an array of different emotions when you were near the man or even exchanging a few words to eachover and it didn't take long for you to realise you were developing feelings of deep affection towards Sebastian.

These feelings often got in the way of you day to day duties which irritated Sebastian but he didn't mind only telling you to resume to your tasks, you were grateful for his understanding but at the same time all you wanted to do was to pour out your feelings towards him however you didn't have the courage to do so. What if he doesn't like me? Will he laugh at me? Would he accept me? You kept asking yourself these questions unable to decide what to do, in the end you just decided to keep your feelings locked away not telling a single soul.

The darkness had started fading into the light and the windows of the manor one by one began to light up, you felt your eyes tearing up but you held back the urge to cry.
