The Crash

  Nearing the end of the day, the sun clawed itself out of the gloomy clouds of the rainy day. The setting sun casted immense dark shadows along and inside the suburban houses. Scott wasn't far from the goons that took his mother against her will. Footprints, bloodstains, and other signs led him onward in a fury.
  He kicked doors in, clearing houses one by one, finding new gear and ditching the rest of the littered garbage. He killed any undead that lingered around without a second thought or any hesitation. They were just pawns in his game of chess. Mary was close, she had to be.
  A crash of shattering glass echoed from down the street. Scott shot out from the current house that he was searching. He needed answers. It only took a few steps before revealing what the commotion came from. He saw figures carrying weapons in the distance, and then Scott's eyes spotted someone alongside them - A captive. Mary, his mother.. it was her. Scott gripped his weapon in pure frustration, knowing what he had to do next...
