Meaning: hot tar

Hair color: an ashy grey
Eye color: the same grey, only with what seems like liquid as pupils. ((often hidden behind his fluffy curls))
Likes: sushi, warm weather, hot showers.
Dislikes: cold weather, storms.

Quirk: Tar. Hit tar seeps out of his pores, which he can manipulate in any way he wants. ((such as encasing certain body parts in it, sliding around on it, etc.)) his body is immune to heat due to the fact that tar boils at 300 degrees ((Fahrenheit))

Quirk drawbacks: his body cannot go below 300 degrees, ((the outside of his body may feel normal, but on the inside it's boiling hot)) or else he will solidify. Using his quirk a lot also causes him to get sluggish and tired, so his movements aren't as smooth and quick. Tar also is very hot and dangerous, so it can light on fire, melt metal or or even burn down buildings. 

Hero suit: seeing as his body can't go below 300 degrees, small heat emmitters have been attached to fire and burnpriof leather straps that he slips on. There is a heater for each wrist, ankle, and one on his chest. His pants are a dark grey, they almost seem navy blue. He doesn't wear a shirt, that way he has more access to his quirk.

Personality: hottotāru tends to be really awkward and dorky, often making dumb jokes to lighten the mood or to get the conversation going. Though he probably is the most awkward in class, he is always willing to help someone out if they need it! He tries to be more confident, but the more he tries the more awkward he gets. Most times he stumbles on his words and blushes bright pink when embarrassed. He also makes a lot or horrible tar puns, that are also on his merch. Such as:

"that was a TARrible performance!"

Backstory: when hottotāru was 4 his quirk first manifested. His was in the concrete shed next to his preschool, trying to get a soccer ball. Tar started to ooze from his pores, encasing the door and sealing it shut. Hottotāru frantically looked around, his body moving back and forth. As he moved, he was cut all over his cest and arms due to the rakes and other garden supplies that were also in the shed along with the playground toys. All Might saved him, and so now hottotāru lives his scars because they were given to him before he met All Might, giving them more meaning. From then on he wanted to be a hero, and save people like All Might saved him. He lives with his mother as an only child, his father having died young due to hero work. The only person in his family with his quirk was his great grandmother, who drowned in the sticky substance (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) at the age of four.

Present time: Hottotāru now attends UA, and is In class 1-A. He is working to he a hero!
