8- Unfinished Business

Mother trucker dude, that hurt like a buttcheck on a stick. Hey, guys, I'm back and I'm sorry for not updating for so long, so I don't have a process when it comes to song choice, the chapter context, or anything like that. If you guys have any suggestions for me, It would be greatly appreciated and you'll get a shoutout and the beginning and end of said chapter. On with the story that will take me 10 years to get published👍 Glad to be back! Btw you can skip this chapter because it's not very important to the storyline.

I jolted awake beside Tom who did the same, "Thank god, I almost thought I lost you guys for a minute there.

Now...

Tom's P.O.V.

We got out of the van as Y/n and Harrison waited for what I could only assume was a new van. I noticed some very subtle bruises on Y/n's face, "Did Andrew do this to you?" I said cupping her face. Fear was written all over her face, "N-no" she stuttered hoping I would buy it, I didn't, "Yes he did, are you okay?" She winced when I touched her bruise. I saw the other van pull up and ran inside, to my dismay we had to share a van with Andrew, "Move over." Y/n demanded, as Andrew complied she moved so I could sit next to her, "I'd rather be in between you two" I said pointing to them both. 

"Tom, he's not in any condition to do anything, let's just go home ok?" she asked me once again giving me her irresistible puppy eyes. "Fine" I gave in, "Let's go before I break his jaw" Y/n cautiously comforted me, I gladly accepted I missed her so much. It hadn't been even 48 hours although it felt like 48 months without her, I leaned my head on her shoulder. I started to drift off to sleep, now being able to because she's ok, but before I could the van came to a stop. I opened my eyes and saw that we were in front of my mansion with my parents, who had worried looks on their faces, on the steps.

Y/n got out with Harrison and I trailing behind like lost puppies, mum walked up to her giving her a big hug. Guess they were just as worried about her as I was, Mum and Y/n had gotten pretty close since she moved in. They spent time together when dad and I weren't around, "Oh Y/n we were so worried about you." Mum said in a comforting voice, "Thanks Nikki" Y/n responded as she let go of her, "Tom was so worried that we got worried for both of you." Dad joked, causing him, mum and Y/n to laugh, her laugh reassured me, convinced me that everything will be fine.

This reunion had caused me to almost forget about Andrew's punishment, "Sir what do we do with him?" One of my men said to me causing me to turn around, "Uh put him in th basement I'll deal with him later." I said quickly, Y/n came to me, "Tom, I know what you're thinking but he doesn't deserve this" she said. I was beyond confused, "How does he not deserve this? Y/n he took the one thing I love most in this world, he deserves so much more than what I'm going to do to him." She was taken back, "I-I don't know what to say-" she started but was cut off by my lips on hers.

Y/n's P.O.V.

The words just kept playing over and over in my head, 'He took the one thing I love most in this world.' I didn't know what to say, he had told me he loved me but never expressed so much emotion towards the subject. After he pulled away we all went inside, Tom's parents went to the kitchen, Harrison went to interrogate Andrew, Tom and I went upstairs to talk. "Tom I still don't think that It's a good idea to punish him, he's a very confused man," he stood from his spot on the bed. "Y/n how confused could he be? He knew what he was doing and he knew the consequences."

I shook my head, "Tom, he only did it to get back at Domonic" I explained, "What does my father have to do with any of this?" he asked confused. "Look, Andrew leaked some valuable information of you're fathers, then took off, as a punishment Domonic took his wife." Tom's eyes went wide, "Dom killed his wife and he still thinks you have her" Tom nodded, "So he took you as a revenge plot." I nodded, "Yes, so you see, he only did it out of grief and anger and he doesn't deserve to be punished."
