A duende is a creature somewhat like a human from Iberian, Latin American, and Filipino folklore. The Spanish term duende originated as a contraction of the phrase dueño de casa or duen de casa, "possessor of a house", and was originally conceptualized as a mischievous spirit inhabiting a house.

To explain this, it puts a curse on you if you do two things disturb its home which is a dirt mound or if its justa d*ck. They're tricksters that curse you with either sickness,or something deadly.

It's colors differentiate from red to green to white to black and occasionally li he's on a type of tree that has roots all over it called balete.

(We have a balete in our small park a walk from our house)

ITS SMALL BUT POWERFUL. Trust us Filipinos. DON'T MESS WITH THEM
