The Getaway

-----MiraJane's POV-----

"We're here!!!" I announced cheerfully.

Natsu and Gajeel were the first to get off. "Sweet, sweet ground!" Natsu said as he regained full consciousness.

Suddenly I saw a really tall girl with a staff uniform coming over to us.

"Hi, My name is Jessica, but you can just call me Jess! You guys and girls must be the last fairy tail bus!" Jessica said expressionately. I have a feeling that this girl will be very annoying.

"Well," I say trying to keep a fake smile on my face, "I'm MiraJane or just Mira."

Everyone else introduced themselves as Jess took us up to the place where we would be staying. It was so beautiful! Palm trees and other exotic plants dotting the lush landscape around the hidden resort! It looked so relaxing! The walk to the top of the hill where the resort was located was pretty long, though. As we entered the resort, Jess told us about little facts about this hotel and the landscape around it.

-----No POV-----

Jess and the fairy tail mages took the elevator to the 18th floor. The elevator was luckily big enough for everyone's luggage. Jess said that the floors 15-20 are 1 big room, like a penthouse. Each bus had to share a room with each other. Jess left the room with a goodbye and a wink at Gajeel.

-----Gajeel's POV-----

Why the hell did that girl Jess wink at me? Whatever... Like I care.

I found myself a room far away from everyone else's. It was the room with the window that had a view to the sea. I settled in and put my things around my room to make it look more like my room. I roughly shut the door of my room then lay on my bed. I tried to get some sleep because I was motion sick the whole car ride. I couldn't really sleep though because all I heard was Shrimp and Lucy talking about how the girls and boys should get separate floors and how Mira should've picked better people to be on the bus, then Mira overheard that and started chasing Levy and Lucy.

At this point I knew it would be impossible to take a nap.

I got out of my room and sat on the long, modern couch.

-----Erza's POV-----

I was so excited for this trip! It took me so long to pack what I wanted to bring along and ended up brining a little more than what I usually bring along.

Right now I got out of my room and decided to see why levy and Lucy were screaming. It turns out Mira was chasing them around the whole floor. Natsu and Gray had a stupid idea to join into the chase. I re-equipped into a summer dress with ruffles dotted with a light blue colour which smudged transitioning into white- like ombre.

Why can't everyone just enjoy the vacation, why fight so much? I think to myself. I guess everyone just wants to stay in shape so they don't get rusty.

-----Wendy's POV-----

I finally finished unpacking and got out of my room to get some food. As I was walking towards the kitchen to get some food with Charle, I noticed Erza just staring into space. I came over to ask what she was thinking about.

"Hi Erza, what's on your mind?" I asked Erza.

"Oh, umm, nothing really, Wendy," Erza replied.

I asked Erza if she was hungry. She replied, "well, who wouldn't after 8 hours?"

So Erza joined me in finding some good food in the kitchen. Luckily this resort was all inclusive so the staff already had food stored in the kitchen for us. I had some crackers and cheese and Erza had some strawberries.

After eating, we all heard a loud knock on the door...
