Roald Amundson was born on 1872 . As a child he read the book about the great British explorer . After that he also decided that I am also an explorer. The family of the Amundson works in fishing industry but his mother wanted to avoid of a danger of life on sea so his mother said to her you become a doctor . Roald Amundson has joined the university but side by side he read the books of explorers . When he was 21 year old her mother was died. He left the university and began his life as an explorer . In early expedition Amundson was a part of a crew. He watched , listen, and learned some useful skills . Once on a ship trapped in ice he observed how the doctor hunting skills provided the crew with fresh meat and kept them free from scurvy . When he was 28 year old Amundson became a leader of expedition with his own ship Gjao . From 1903 to 1906 to took crew of six men on his ship to found the route through Northwest passage is the sea route through the Artic than Atlantic to Pacific Ocean . Deu to very cold temperatures the area is frozen over most of time .
