Chapter 2

*Hannah's pov*

When I got home from work I couldn't find Lucas anywhere in the apartment. I yelled for him until I heard his small footsteps come running from the hall.
"Where were you!" I yelled as I reached out to hug him.
"I'm sorry I left Hannah, but I was helping out new neighbor move in." Lucas mumbled as he pulled away from my hug.
"You know your not supposed to leave." I said. Lucas rolled his eyes making me roll mine.
"How old is our new neighbor anyways?" I asked curious. Suddenly a smirk appeared on Lucas's face.
"He's your age!" Lucas said as he suggestively wiggled his eyebrows and started to drag me towards the door.
"No, no, no." I said as I pulled away from his grip. "Ill meet him later. lets just let him rest for now." I said not really wanting to meet this new neighbor of ours. Lucas was always trying to get me to date. I knew it was only cause he felt bad that I never went out anymore. At least not after the accident. But anyways I was happy being single. I didn't need a boyfriend right now. My life was way to busy anyways.
"Hey Lucas." I called from the kitchen.
"What do you want for dinner?" I asked. After a couple seconds I heard him yell that he wanted some noodles. I laughed to myself. I should of know considering that's all he ever wants to eat. I started boiling a pot of water to cook the noodles. After a couple of minutes the food was ready and we started to eat when I heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." I answered to Lucas as he shoved a spoonful of noodles into his mouth. When I opened the door I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Zach aka the baddest boy at my school. He got into tons of fights, smoked, and always skipped class. Not to mention mention that he was also VERY popular and pretty good looking and of course he was a player. I'm sure by now he's dated most of the girls in our school.
"Umm hi." I mumbled as I looked at the ground.
"Hey neighbor." Zach said as he winked at me. I was appalled.
"What do you want?" I said as I picked at my nails.
"You." he simply replied with his signature smirk playing on his lips. As I was about to shut the door in his face he shot his for out to keep it from closing.
"Well actually I came here to ask if you knew where a The nearest McDonalds was. I forgot to buy food and I'm starving." he said.
I sighed but let my niceness take over. "Do you want to come in? I just made some pasta." I said trying to be as pleasant as possible.
"That would be great actually." Zach said as he shoot be an actual smile. I then opened the door letting him in.
"What your name anyways?" Zach asked me.
"It Hannah your dumb ass. I've gone to your school for the last four years. I said annoyed. When he heard this his eyes darker the tiniest bit.
"Well Hannah. If you want our time as neighbors to be pleasant I expect that you keep your mouth shut about my move here I can't let anyone know I'm living in a dump like this." He said as he looked around my apartment.
"Not everyone can afford all the stuff that you have. People like me and Lucas are lucky to even live here." I said as I glared at him and scoffed. he just rolled his eyes and are more. Of my food. Spoiled brat. I think I've just grown an even bigger hatred of him than before. I finished my food and quickly cleaned up before motioning Zach to the door.
"Can you please leave now?" I asked snottily. "I need to put Lucas to bed."
"Don't worry babe. I'm leaving." He said as he walked out the door. I couldn't believe him. He was so cocky and rude. I just shook my head and put Lucas to bed and then climbed into my own bed. I kept thinking about everything that's been happening as I slowly drifted to sleep.

*Zachs pov*

After I woke up from my nap I was starving so I went over to the neighbors house to see if they knew anywhere that I could get food at. When Hannah opened the door I couldn't help but scan her up and down and notice how hot she was. I can't believe I've never noticed her at school before. I knew I sounded rude when I told her not to tell anyone that I lived here, but I couldn't let my reputation get damaged.
