Tony Stark was pacing frantically around the living room of his house. Why? Because the X-Avengers are coming back. Tony is worried what will happen. Sure, they weren't fighting anymore, but the tension was still thick.

Rhodes was annoyed with Tony's pacing. "Calm down, Tones. It'll be fine." Tony listened to his friend and tried to calm down. He sat of one of the many sofas, and while he stopped looking so panicky, he was still tapping his legs nervously.

The lift pinged. FRIDAY spoke up, "Boss, the X-Avengers has arrived." FRIDAY just finished speaking when team Cap made their way in. "Yeah, I know FRI."

"Stark." Steve greeted with a nod of his head.

"Rogers." Tony replied, standing up.

"You will have a floor to yourselves. You pass level will be Alpha Level 1, so you won't have access to everywhere. Meaning you can't go to my private floors or labs." Tony said.

Steve stared at Tony for a while. Then, he nodded. "I'm sorry Tony."

Tony bits his lips. "I know, Steve. I'm sorry too. But, I'm not sure if I'm ready to forgive you. You will have to give me a while."

Steve nods understandingly. "Come on." He called to his team. "Let's go to our floor now. Later, Tony."

Tony opened his mouth to reply but the lift pinged again. A teenager came out. He was absorbed in texting his phone. "Hey Dad." He greeted absentmindedly.

The whole room was silent. "What?" Peter looked up and saw the X-Avengers. "Fuck." He cursed.

"Language." Steve commented, out of habit.

"Dad, what are they doing here?" Peter asked hesitantly, while jerking a thumb at the X-Avengers.

"Dad?" Peter asked again when Tony did bot reply. "Dad!" Peter yelled. Peter was really worried about Tony now. He knew the older Stark had nightmares and PTSD about that fight.

"Dad!" Peter yelled again. That snapped Tony out of whatever he was in. "Kid?" Tony says, surprised.

"You forgot school ended?" Peter asked. "Anyway, I asked, what are they doing here?"

"Oh, they came to live here again." Tony responds.

"You're okay with that?" Peter sounded surprise. Tony sighed. "I'll be fine, kid."

"Wait, wait, wait, did this teen just call Stark, Dad?" Clint interrupts.

"Uh, yeah?" Peter replies, unsure.

"Meet Peter Stark, my son." Tony introduced.

"We can be dad buddies, Stark!" Clint says, excited.

"Yeah... no." Tony rolled his eyes. Peter grabbed his father's hand. "Dad, Imma go do work right now kay? See you later!" Peter let go of Tony's hand and dashed off.

"Nice kid Stark." Rhodes said. "Should have told me you had one."

Tony groaned. "I wanted to come out when he's older. Like 18 maybe." Tony admitted.

"How old is he?" Natasha asked.

"16."

"I'm going to my room. It's boring with you children." Natasha left the room.

Clint glanced at the vent shaft above him. "I'm gonna explore." He decided, leaping into the vents and crawling off.

"For Thor's sake get out of my vents!" Tony yelled. No response. Tony grumbled.

"Is there a training room?" Steve asked.

"Yeah. FRI will lead you there." Tony responded. "Dinner's at 7 if you want." He then left.

The rest of the team dispersed too.

Peter's POV (third)

OMG OMG OMG. I just met the AVENGERS!!!!! Like how cool is that!!!! Peter was super excited. Yeah, he knew there was still a thick tension, but hey, meeting the Avengers despite the situation was still cool.

Peter didn't really have work to do. He just had to leave, or he die from fanboying. He decided to go out as Spiderman.

He first hacks into FRIDAY to get her to play a loop of Peter doing his work. Peter then pulls of his suit and swings out of an open window.

During his patrol, he stopped two muggings; thankfully he wasn't shot, saved a cat from a tree, and stopped a robbery from a jewellery store. By the time he was done, it was almost close to dinner time. He swung back to his room, changed into his normal clothes, then put FRIDAy back to normal. He strode out of his room after 5 minutes.

"Hey, Dad, Mr Rogers, Mr Barton, Ms Romanoff, Dr Banner, Ms Maximoff, Mr Maximoff (fight me), Mr Rhodes, Mr Vision, Mr Wilson," Peter greeted.

Steve chuckled. "That's a mouthful. Just call us by our first names." He smiled.

Peter put on a calm facade. "Okay, Mr R-I mean, Steve." Inside, however, he was going crazy. I AM ON A FIRST NAME BASIS WITH THE FREAKING AVENGERS!!! Who wouldn't go crazy?

Pepper had cooked pasta for dinner which Peter instantly slurps down. "Yum! Thanks, Mom!" He grinned, placing his dish in the basin, before dashing to his room.

He collapsed on his bed, thinking, I JUST ATE DINNER WITH THE CAPTAIN AMERICA! AND HAWKEYE! AND BLACK WIDOW! AND THE BRUCE BANNER! AND FALCON WAS THERE! SO WERE THE MAXIMOFF TWINS! This is officially the best day of my life!!

Peter smiled. He certainly was lucky, living with the Avengers and all. But then again, who would believe it, bar Ned and MJ?
