"Okay students let's work more examples for a few minutes, say about 20 to half an hour"
"Nooooo" we all screamed in unison
"Then we'll narrow it down to a little less time" Mr Anderson said shrugging
"Ughhh why does he do this all the time" Blake whispered from behind me
"That's how all these maths teachers are, I honestly can't wait to be through with highschool" I responded
"I know right"
"Moving on, we'll be solving equations 4 to 9 from the page on your textbooks on Circle Geometry. This is a very vital topic in your academics, such that you might find it hard to understand the others to come if by any chance you skip this" he kept on rambling and the students hardly payed attention since he'd said that about almost every topic we covered since the beginning of the session, it felt like forever, until the monitors in the class lit up letting us know that school was over, and also followed by a confirmation bell...as much as I love leaving school the administration had a lot of unnecessary stuff but they did have the money to waste so who am I to complain.
"Sir, your time is up!!" We all screamed in unison again since our caring maths teacher thought we hadn't had enough torture already.
I could feel Sophia's eyes on I and Melanie as we laughed over something she whispered to me and I turned to face the back of the class only to confirm my suspicions. Mel and I were seatmates and Sophie used to sit with us too but 'boy issues' got the best of her...now it's just the old malice or make up game, and clearly she's a fan of malice and since I had nothing to do with it I don't want to complicate matters further, I won't be taking sides on this one, the only thing I'm interested in right now is getting home before I die of hunger.
"Glad the man's gone, I mean he just taught for an hour straight, like we're still in high school yo" cue...eye rolls, why? Because that was joy and she tends to overreact like a whole freaking lot and she's just sometimes generally annoying.
"Joy I honestly think it's not that big of a deal. He taught for an hour yes, but no one else was going to and besides we paid for our lessons didn't we??" I asked giving her a fake smile that didn't reach my eyes, in other words it was a 'shooing' smile because I really did want her to go away.
"Yeah. Sure. Pack your bags and let's head down together"
"I already did that, let's go. Mel you coming?" I asked turning to look at Melanie who seems distracted by the new foreign exchange student
"Nope you guys just go ahead, I'll meet you by the car. Ooh I think Octavio is going to see Bella". She said the name with so much disgust and I snickered. Bella Simon was our school's own highschool bitch, she's practically the hottest yet meanest girl at school and by far the most yokelish girl since forever, and FIB High has a butt load of pretty or hot girls so that's saying a lot. She gets any and every guy she likes and dates them for barely a week and Octavio happens to be Melanie's newest crush, according to what we heard he moved here not long ago, well two months, a week and four days ago to be precise...Armi has been stalking him since he lives next door and her old neighbours moved out so the job was kinda easy. Although I wouldn't say I'm completely off the game, I mean Octavio Horado is a fine piece of wine, well a fine piece of Brazilian wine if they even have those. I also heard he's from Rio de Janeiro and man he should consider going for a pageant or something because that dude sets butterflies free just by looking at you. Gosh.
"So now you stalk him at school too?...Nice" I said grinning "-anyways we're heading out now, I'll tell the driver you're busy with some stuff"
"K. Thanks or nevermind let's go together, watching them together is sickening. Oh wait they're holding hands, come on let's get down there quicklyyyy!, I changed my mind, I don't want to miss anything" She said before running out of the classroom
"She needs serious help" Joy said rolling her eyes
"Yeah well so do you" she elbowed me and we giggled our way out of class right behind Mel who was quiet for some reason I was honestly not bothered to know of.

So hi guysss, you're probably wondering what kind of an author I am considering how I didn't even leave a note since the beginning of the book. I just wanted to thank you for reading this book I mean sure it's not interesting yet but we'll get there, I'm known for beating around the bush.
This happens to be the first book I've had the courage of showing people but as time goes on if I eventually get a lot of followers and votes on this one I'll publish another, and that one would be more worthy of y'all..this is just, well, to test the waters if you will
