09 - A thing that you shouldn't feel

Two days later

Zhan startled when Xuanyu called him. "Zhan-ge. One song is done!" Zhan rubbed his eyes and closed his book, looking at Xuanyu who grinned at him. Today, just like yesterday, Zhan again stuck in Yibo's room. But it felt a bit better when Xuanyu came to work yesterday and today, at least that assistant brought up things to talk. As Yibo just worked hard for the song, Zhan can predict that guy wanted to have him out from the room faster. To that thought, Zhan actually was a bit sad.

"Zhan-ge." Zhan startled and snapped from his thought. "Come and listen to it. We finished the melody. Yibo-ge will do the guide soon." Xuanyu said cheerfully. Zhan smiled a bit and got up. The actor took a glance at the other guy. Yibo just stayed silence and didn't turn. Zhan exhaled and walked towards Xuanyu. Xuanyu smiled while giving the lyric sheet to Zhan and let Zhan listen the song. Zhan immersed into the song. He quite liked the melody.

"It's nice." Zhan commented after the song ended. There's no lyric yet just music. Xuanyu tapped the pencil on his chin as he took a look at the lyric sheet. He turned to Yibo.

"Ge, how about this part we make it a rap?" Xuanyu pointed to a verse. Yibo turned and took the lyric, thinking.

"Rap? Are we doing a featuring?" Zhan asked out of sudden. Xuanyu turned to him.

"Maybe if it's not too fast you can do it? I mean not the real rap just fastened word flow." Xuanyu said. Zhan shrugged.

"I never tried." At the moment, Yibo played at the exact part Xuanyu pointed out. He observed the lyric and beat.

"Yeah, it's better with a rap but a real rap." Yibo commented, looking at Xuanyu. Zhan put up his hand.

"I can't rap." Zhan mused. Yibo took a glance at him and turned to Xuanyu.

"Xuanyu, can you go and ask about the featuring to Mr. Li? Bring this guy with you." Yibo said looking at Xuanyu. Xuanyu startled.

"Me?"

"Yeah, you. Just bring Xiao Zhan with you, he can help. I have no mood to get up." Yibo said, moving the paper in his hand indicating the two to go. Xuanyu looked at Zhan who just shrugged. Xuanyu exhaled.

"Okay, I will go." Xuanyu said and got up, Zhan followed from behind. The two left. Yibo looked at the door for a while before taking out his phone, texting someone.

"Can we, Mr. Li?" Xuanyu asked. Mr. Li looked at the two guys. He exhaled.

"It's weird Yibo didn't come and ask himself." He said. Xuanyu and Zhan looked at each other. Mr. Li chuckled. "I know the reason, gee that guy." He clicked his tongue and shook his head.

"Is it..." Zhan wanted to say something but stopped middle way. Mr. Li smiled.

"He must be still upset over that day. Well, anyway. About the featuring, I'm fine. But please choose from the rapper we have in the company." Mr. Li said. Xuanyu nodded. Zhan just stayed silent.
