As the sudden  but bright moonlight came into the room through the windows. I felt the heaviness off my eyes as i opened them. I then rubbed my eyes as my mind started to pick itself up, as i realized that i forgot the check if Seulgi texted me back after my own response. i quickly turned my head towards my bedside table as i practically ripped the charger out of my phone as i checked it. The phone was turning on for a long time, might be its own fault or my impatient. In this situation i think it's both. As the phone turned on after long endless seconds of waiting i glanced at the notifications that were practically mentally yelling at me through the screen.

I sighed asi opened the app as bad paranoid thoughts rushed into my head. i opened Seulgi's chat as i smiled a little "Better later or never, i guess.." i told myself as i started to type.

As I saw the time she texted me again a cringed a little as I realized I was few hours late already to reply back. I typed. Deleted, proof read and vise versa. I panicked a bit while texting her. I don't exactly take pride in that.

I replied with as the cheesiness was bugging me a little but I brushed it off, I wasn't expecting her to respond at this hour so I simply put my phone down again as adjusted my position against my firm bed. But as I was ready to close my eyes again , I heard the sheepish notification sound the app made when someone messaged you. But I was slightly doubting it was her, it could've been my mom. Since her concern nature shows at any hour of the day.

I picked up my phone as I was a little shocked but happy none of the less. I was a bit annoyed at myself since I could've woken her up. But maybe she's still a night owl like back then.

As I thought about it. A simply just smiled being stressed but both excited to. But I was also a bit curious on why Irene didn't end up going with Seulgi.. truly what a girlfriend I thought as I then wished her to have some good sleep before turning off my phone for good.
It all seemed so new, but it wasn't. It was just so refreshing to be finally with her again. It just left my heart with a bubbly and warm feeling.

I felt a little pathetic to feel like this, since she was taken and we are simply great friends. I don't think we would ever evolve into something more than a friendship. But dreams could come true. I can't judge the future based on my lack of confidence.

I was getting ready for this so called party, as i had yet to process the fact that i agreed to go, but. It was Seulgi. And telling her no is purely impossible.

As minutes went by, and i was only adding final touches in my simple makeup and hair..i heard my doorbell ring. Now, no one would be needing me at this moment. But the only person I could think of was Seulgi.

I rushed to my front door, as i then clumsily peeped through the peeping hole. It was her, and she still looked like such an angel even through such a small image. “ Hi there ” i said after opening the door and looking at her fully. Analysing anything possible “ oh gosh hey again! You look great” I added stupidly as the other simply giggled.
“ Well thank you y/n , you're looking super great as well” Seulgi said happily. As my heart fluttered in ecstasy. Even such a small compliment made me feel like thousands of butterflies were trapped underneath my skin. And so many fires lit upon my cheeks. “ So, are you ready to go?” she added as i was pretty quiet for few seconds “ pftt..yeah yeah!” i said as she then moved to the side so I could walk out as well.

I smiled at this gesture softly, as i then did what we both wanted. To be both outside..yeah i wanted to say that I'm my mind but in a whole other context. “ So Irene isn't really going?” i asked as i closed the door slowly and then locked it.

“ She said no..but she also said maybe?” Seulgi said.
