For the past two months since Terra joined the Titans, they have been doing daily night patrols. Nightwing concluded that it's best to send a pair to patrol at night and keep the citizens safe. It also serves as an application of teamwork training that they have been doing in the tower.
One night Damian barged in into the computer room while Dick is working.
"Mind if I have a word Grayson?"
"Sure Damian, what's it about"
"I hate this pairing patrol gimmick or whatsoever you are doing"
"Why? It's efficient and it also sharpens teamwork"
"You know that I go solo."
"Which is precisely my point"
Dick gave a deep sigh
"Look Damian, you just can't go solo all the time –"
"I can" Damian instantly replied
Dick gave a deep sigh
"Look I know you can go solo but you have to trust me, sooner or later you'll enjoy the company of your teammate."
"Give it some more time"
Damian angrily went back to his room
"What will I ever do with this kid?"
===After one week===
"Dick, whose turn is it for the patrol?" Jaime asked
"Gar and Raven" Dick replied
"OH YEAH MORE POST FOR ME IN TWITTER!" Garfield happily replied
"Great" Damian angrily whispered
BeastBoy and Raven are doing their night patrol. Beast Boy as usual is enjoying his time taking pictures, vlogging, and eating whatever he wants. As for Raven, she is walking with her earphones on just to give the message to Beast Boy that she doesn't want to talk to him.
Beast Boy waves his hand at Raven's face to catch her attention.
"This sure feels like we are on a date huh" Beast Boy asked
"Never" Raven replied with annoyance in her face
"Come on momma, aren't you charmed by my looks?"
Beast Boy posed trying to be cool
Raven is cringing heavily and didn't reply
Suddenly a scream broke out. Beast Boy and Raven rushed into the scene and saw Brother Blood's minions.
"Stop right there" Beast Boy shouted and transformed into a cheetah
The minions swiftly ran for their lives and split ways.
Raven followed the minion into the warehouse.
Just as she was to blast the minion in the feet, another minion threw an object towards her
She dodged but that gave an ample amount of time for a new minion to knock her out cold
Just as Raven is about to lose her consciousness she saw a silhouette of someone knocking out the minion who attacked her.
When Raven woke up she is already in a top of a building. Then she saw Damian.
"Damian?" Raven asked
"Rise and shine sleepyhead"
"Aren't you supposed to be in the tower with the others?"
"Was hungry. Went to buy some snack here in the city and saw you going in the warehouse"
"Was about to leave it up to you but I saw men on the backside of the warehouse"
But the truth is that Damian was following Beast Boy and Raven from the start of their patrol

Raven went to Damian who was sitting at the edge of the building and staring at city's lights
"It's beautiful" Raven admiring the scenery
"This is one of my spots, whenever I just want to relax and think."
"Nice choice birdboy"
"Thank you also for the help, I owe you for that one"
"The son of Batman won – "
"shut it birdboy" Raven cutted his reply
"I was about to say that the son of Batman won't allow his companion to starve" Damian smirked
Raven's stomach grumbled and she began to slap Damian softly
Damian tossed a cakebread to Raven
"I love sweet things. Thanks Birdboy" thinking to herself
They began to enjoy the evening lights and the silence of each other's company.
"It really is enjoyable" silently whispered with a faint smile in his face
