He guided me to the park. We sat on the bench in silence not speaking just hearing him breath. Was relaxing for me. He looked at me with his big grey eyes. I looked back at him.
"Are you okay" he said
"Why do you ask" I said
"When your with Nick you change"he said.
Was he right did I really change. No, I was still the same,but this time I was alert ready for anything.
"I know what you really want me to say" I said.
He looked at me like he was in a daze.
"What do you mean"he said
"I love you"I said
His eyes opened wide. I guess he was shocked.
"Do you mean it"he said sounding curious.
"Of course. Even though i'm with Nick, I can't help but think about you. You give me butterflies. But I don't know why." I said.
He looked in my eyes. Not once losing contact.
"Then why are you with him" he said getting angry.
"Because I love him. He would never hurt me like you did. I regret even telling you"I screamed.
I got up from the bench and walked away. Not once looking back at my old life. I walked down the road. I saw Cassie walking down the street. I turned around trying to avoid.
" Hey"she said. Running over to me.
I stopped walking and turned around. Before I could answer she punched me in the face knocking me to the ground.She kicked me in the head 6 times with her high heels on. She stomped on my stomach. I was getting mad my head was pouring out blood. I grabbed her foot before she could kick me again and twisted it hearing the bone crack she fell to the ground screaming. I stumbled to my feet. Feeling the blood run down my face I started to black out. I heard someone scream my name. But I just wanted to sleep. My eyes closed, I was out cold.
I woke up my head pounding.I took in my surrounding , looking all around. It was some room I didn't see windows. So it was the basement. Jason walked down the stairs with bandges.
"Don't be scared. This is my dad's lab I told him what happened and he said I could use it to help you."
"Huh. Oh"I said
"Yesterday Cassie kicked your ass. But you broke her ankle. I guess it was a fair fight."
" I was passed out for a day" I said leaning up from the bed"
" Lay down because your still fragile"he said
"Where's Nick"I said
The look in Jason's went into a depress mood.
"He left town I told him what happened so he just left."he said.
My heart stopped.Did Nick really leave me or Jason was lying. I didnt know what to believe.
