I thought of what Cassie said.It made me somewhat scared but also alert. I didn't notice Nick wasn't next to me. I stretched out my arms letting my muscles get loose. I hopped out the bed and into the shower letting all the thoughts of my father and Cassie wash away. I stepped out of the shower. I couldn't find a towel so I just walked into the bedroom in search of one. I stood there in shock Nick was staring at my naked body.
"Damn, girl you are sexy"he said.
"Pass me a towel you ass"I said
"I'll pass it to you if you play nice"he said
He threw me a towel I wrapped it around myself.
"Thanks babe"I said kissing him on the cheek.
"So are you scared of what Cassie said"I said slipping on some sweats with a pink T-shirt then I sat next to Nick on the bed. Looking into his eyes.
"Cassie, that bitch she's not scary. She doesn't put fear in my damn heart"he said getting off the bed and walking down the stairs to the living room I followed.
"I was just asking. Plus isn't it strange that those people that are trying to kill us isn't making a move"I said
"Don't let your guard down because,if you do you will die" he said
"You don't have to tell me" I said
"Your special to me you know that right"he said
"Your the same to me so try to not die"I said
Nick started to laugh just then I saw a red dot on Nick's forehead. I ran to Nick and knocked him on the floor. The bullet went right threw the wall.
"Thanks"he said
I grabbed my gun from my pocket.They door swung open Nick hopped to his feet.I saw Jason standing there.He started to speak
"Shit, I thought I got him" he said
"You did that"I said
"Yes I did but I thought when I walked in I would have seen his brain on the wall"he said
"What the fuck man, he could have died"I said
"That was the plan"he said
Nick looked pissed. Nick started to speak.
"Tom got to you didn't he. He's the head of the,special task force he did the same to my friend. Turn him against me"he said
"I was never your fucking friend I hate you. I want you dead"Jason said.
Before I knew it Jason tackled Nick on the floor they started to fight rolling around. All I could remember was that Jason had a gun and with them rolling around like that one of them was going to get hurt.
"Stop! Please"I said
They continued. Tell I heard a noise that rocked my world. Bang!!!!!! The gun went off I was scared. Jason rolled off of Nick I saw blood on Nick's shirt. Nick got up to his feet. Then I knew Jason was the one who got shot.
"Oh My God"I said. Nick grabbed me and hugged me tight. Tears started to fall.I heard coughing I turned around Jason was still alive. Me and Nick looked at each other we knew what we had to do.And we had to do it fast.
