Jordan POV

It had been a week since I took my kids and while I was unhappy with my choice of divorce that woman wasn't who I loved

However we had a funeral to attend to today and despite me not wanting her at my house I wanted her here

It was our unborn child I didn't care if I couldn't meet him/her I still lost a child I bought a tree and had little ordinance with words on how I would like to see him/her grow up basically write sweet words as the tree grows new words would be made

I heard a knock on the door I sat up slowly my kids were both in the bed sleep with me so I had to ease my way up

I slowly walked down the stairs I went to the freezer first to grab a mint then went to the door

I saw Bryite she gave a weak smile and I opened the door wider And she walked in she was wearing her lazy day clothes yet she still looked beautiful

"Where Are the kids" She asked looking around a bit I pointed upstairs she made and O with her mouth and nodded

"How's Carter" She asked

"Fine he's with the kids upstairs" I said walking to the backyard where the tree was ready to be planted she followed me and sat on the outside chair

"So um how's the single life" She asked trying to pry into my business I gave her and empty look and she chewed her lip she always did that when she was feeling guilty

"Let's play our child's grave and skip all this talking"I said she nodded her head as picked up the tree

We started placing the tree in the ground and putting the ordainments on the tree we said our words and then I made her leave

Me and the kids were going out for Fro-Yo today and get to hang out with Ziyanna so I had to get them dressed and ready I was gonna have some time with Zayden we been meaning to link

"Aye wake y'all ugly asses up" I shook both my kids and when they didn't wake up I flicked there noses

They woke up sneezing

"Ewww y'all nasty" I teased at them as the wiped there eyes and nose with the same hand

They slowly climbed out of bed and went to the bathroom with Carter right behind them

I turned on the Tun and ran warm water putting in Aloe Vera gel and and Oatmeal bubble bath soap

My kids May be half Latino but they got black people skin and I refuse having my kids skin looking cracked and boiled

I put all they toys in the Tub and helped them take they clothes off and put them in the tub I sat on the sink on my phone

Hell yeah I stay while they bathe they only 3 and 2 fuck I look like imma watch out for mines

I let them sit in there for 20 minutes before taking them out to dry then putting they clothes on I got They car seats ready in the car and Drove to the place me and Zayden were meeting up The mall

Bryite POV

I was heading to the mall with Angel she was bringing the new friends of hers I strongly disliked them but it was whatever this was my first step to getting better

When I entered the food court I saw Angel who was waving me towards them I sat in a seat and gave the fakest smile ever

"Hey so hows everything" I asked Angel Referring to Ail she rolled her eyes annoyed and spoke

"So girl guess who Ail is I had to call in a lil favor right and connected the dots turns out Ail is Lia just spelled backwards she was tryna hurt everyone you loved that's all but I called in tip from the cops that she was a drug leader and now she's pending life in jail" Angel explained I was shocked that Ail was Lia but if you thought about it then it made sense

"Wow at least she gon now how's you and Jordan" Syri asked being curious

"None of yo ur business" I said simply she looked at me before looking away

"Why are you so mean to us" Eyiani asked with a sad tone

"Cuz ion fuckin know you lil girl so mind yours" I said then Syri spoke up

"I'm so tired of ur friend Angel we always come trying to be peaceful and nice but she always wanna be rude she such a bitch" Syri spoke leading Eyiani to agree with her

"Fuck you bitch your a hop around hoe" I said and she scoffed

"Yo chill out Bryite this really is starting to get annoying your being so mean to them they've done nothing to you ever" Angel said trying to be nice

"Fuck you too Angel cuz you knew damn well Ian like them and here they are you wanna be like me so bad too I get two good friends and here they are I have a kid suddenly you have a kid I make major business moves then you do find your own life bruh until then Ian cool with none of y'all" I said flipping a cup over on the table spilling water

I left to go get some Fro-Yo before I went back home there was one in the mall it used to be me and Jordan's Favorite place

I walked into the Fro-Yo place and what I saw made me feel weird Jordan was Flirting with the Cashier they were laughing and she was blushing it honestly upset me and where were the kids Harlem was with Ziyanna who was with Zayden and Sayoris was on the cashiers desktop playing with the ladys hair

I wanted Fro-Yo still and I haven't seen my kids in a week so this was kind of a win lose situation for me I Decided to get a Mango and Peach Frozen yogurt with Rainbow sprinkles on the top and eat it by Zayden

"Hey Bryite long time no see how you been" He smiled he was always chill sum I liked about him

"Hey I've been steady I guess" He nodded his head understanding then Harlem finally noticed me she ran over to her father who looked at her confused until she pointed at me

He looked at me and then gave her a little side nod then she came to me with her brother right behind her

"Mommy" Sayoris said holding his arms out For a hug I gave him and his sister a big hug

"No matter what I'm ur mom and I'm so sorry for what's been going on with me mommy's getting better though" I wiped a tear before they could see it

"I gotta go now bye" I kissed them on there cheek looking at Jordan who refused to look at me

I decided to just go home

Jordan POV

I was still chatting it up with Ambree she was a chill girl I had seen her at the Fro-Yo shop for a lil minute im single now so I wanted to see what she was on

"So I'll see you tomorrow" I asked sliding back her phone she smiled

"Yeaaa we'll see" She said being funny handing me my Fro-yo I paid and over needed tip and she smiled waving to my kids before we left

Then I got a phone call as we window shopped

"Hey Mami" I spoke to Bryites mom on the regular today she sounded frantic

"Hey Jordan I know this is a huge favor but could you spare money for a Lawyer and and Funeral Bryites father died and I don't have the money right now" She said

"How much you don't have" I asked she huffed

"Me and David been paying a lot of expense for Zanes Gymnastics and a few months ago David needed arm surgery because his arm had been messing up and stuff were kind of out of pocket right now" She explained I understood but I had questions

"Did you ask Ur daughter Mami" I asked she hissed into the phone

"That little girl had the nerve to hand up in my face when I mentioned money she wouldn't even let me explain I just need Justice for my Ex-Husband" She said

"I got you Mamí I'll send you a couple thousand you be safe" I said she thanked me and hung up

"Y'all mommy a trip she got the nerveeee" I said picking up my kids
