Blunt Responses and Bad Timings

"A confession... huh?" Brian said rather coldly.

Your heart sank, you felt like this made him hate you, like he was sickened at the thought of love. You felt like bursting into tears, but...

"W-well... I-I was about... t-to do t-the same..."
He stutters out before admitting; "G-guess you beat me to it... huh?" With a chuckle.

You giggled and slyly replied; "You insisted I go first, remember."

You then heard a third voice, which made you both blush up. You looked over to see Albert, with only his head poking out of his sleeping bag, playfully swooning and saying; "Hehe, how cute."

Brian began whisper-yelling to Albert; "H-how long have you been awake?! And... how much did you hear..?"

Albert replied; "Awake... hm... about 4. And I heard just about everything. Everything I needed anyways."

"N-needed for what?" You ask in a stutter, both you and Brian's faces still flaring a bright red.
"Oh, just answers, but don't worry." He put a finger over his own lips and said; "Your secrets are safe with me." And with that, Albert winked. You and Brian sighed in relief as you both began to get up, Albert getting up with you two.

Albert walked into the kitchen and got out 8 mugs, making a whole batch of hot chocolate, boiling the kettle. Everyone else had woken up at that point, as Lilac almost bolted to Y/N and Brian; "Sooo~ anything happen with you two?~"

"N-No."
"N-Not at all! Why would you ask that?!"

She smirks and looks at Albert, asking; "Albert, you know anything happening with Y/N and Shy Guy?"
Luckily, Albert was one to trust, as he shrugged and said; "Nope. I was the first one up and I can assure you, nothing happened." He said giving a small wink towards you and Brian, unnoticeable by anyone else.

Lilac huffs; "Aww, guess I'll have to wait to gossip."

Albert then took a chance to say; "If your so keen on making a scene with dating, why don't you get a relationship yourself? From what I know Kaden is single, as well as Jake."
Lilac's face goes red from the first name, saying; "I-I w-when... that's not fair!" As Albert began to laugh. Just then, the kettle finished boiling, it was an electronic kettle, so it made a small click as Albert swung back into the kitchen, then appearing out with a tray full of mugs, filled with hot chocolate, two marshmallows put in each one.

"Alright everyone, I made hot chocolate!" He calls out as everyone took a mug each. Jake asks; "Why do you use the Australian term for it?" Albert replies; "It's not necessarily Australian, just different. Also, call it hot cocoa if you'd like."

Jake sighed and said; "Alright, alright." As he took a sip without cooling it and burnt his tongue. He put the cup on the bench before yelping; "OW! Y-yep, it's hot." Albert giggled before getting an ice cube from the freezer and sliding it into his mouth. He sighed and said; "hng... thands alvert..."

(purposely misspelled, just how he'd say it with an ice cube in his mouth.)

As everyone walked back into the room they had slept in, Albert asked; "So, whats to do now? We've got about 7 hours before everyone goes."
