"Where's Monty?" I asked, seeing Clarke at the edge of camp with Bellamy and Murphy. "Staying behind, he's working on communication with the Ark." I laughed softly, "Too bad I didn't take ater my dad huh?" I said and she gave me a grin, "Too bad." I chuckled lightly, "Wells is coming." she said, "You can stay back if you want." I sighed, "No. Getting Jasper is more important than fighting with Wells. It's exhausting anyway. Besides I'm pretty sure his focus is all you." she laughed and threw a ration packet at me as I walked off. "Yum!" I teased and she shook her head. "You're never gonna grow up." I shrugged, "You're never gonna grow down." I froze as I saw Wells approaching.

"Who else is going?" I asked, "Us." Murphy's voice drawled from behind me, "Ooh fun." i said and rolled my eyes. "Come on Amy, let's move." Clarke said seriously and I nodded. I had anticipated Clarke to walk up front with Wells, but instead Wells hung back, next to me. He looked doown at me and sighed heavily. "Amy, please." I rolled my eyes, "I'm so tired of this Wells. Just leave me alone okay." I huffed, "You don't hate me. I know you don't." he said and grabbed my elbow.

My eyes widened and I smacked him, "Don't touch me. And you're right. I don't hate you. I feel nothing. You and I, are through. Don't expect anything to change just because we're all going to die, because franky that's what you deserve." I said. "Amy please. I never meant to hurt you." Once those words left his mouth I froze, causing Bellamy and Murphy to stop as well. "Is that why you stopped when I told you that you were hurting me? Is that why you told your dad to float my brother. My only family. Wells, our friendship is gone. So stop bothering me. Maybe Clarke will forgive you." I said and walked away quickly.

That was when FInn showed up. "Better late than never right?" he asked and walked over to Clarke. I scoffed rolled my eyes, continuing the journey to the river. Following Finn's advice, everyone was splitting into groups of two to cover more advice. I saw Bellamy and Murhy heading off and grabbed Bellamy's jacket, "How about one of you come with me instead?" I asked nervously. I was hardly nervous, but the thought of being alone with Wells was enough to make me shake.

He nodded, "Take Murphy." I sighed, "It's better than alternative." I said glaring at Wells. "Amy. Amy come on!" he called as I walked off with Murphy. "Come on lover boy." Bellamy said dragging Wells away. "So what's the deal with you and Jaha." I bit my lip, "He's a traitor." I said as he helped me over a fallen tree. I laughed softly. "What?" Murphy asked, "Jasper this same tree when we on our way to the river. I almost walked right into it." I said. "Wow princess." he said and laughed. "So you must really hate Wells. Enough to prefer my company."

"You don't seem that bad. Plus, you don't know Wells. What he's capable of. He hates hearing no, whereas no is my favourite word." he nodded, "Seems like a dick." I shrugged, "So do you, and Bellamy, and Miller." he nodded, "So, why won't you take you bracelet off?" I licked my lip, "There's someone up on th Ark, he needs to know I'm alright." I said, "I need him to know, he's a dick too." I said and laughed. "Seems like you've got a type." he joked. "Seems like." I said as I stepped around a rope trap.

"Stop." I said, picking up a stick and prodding it. The rope tightened around the branch and hauled it up into the air. He looked up in awe, "How'd you see that?" I smiled, "Aced Survival skills." I said, "Guys!" Murphy called and the others appeared quickly, "The woods are rigged." he said, "That's how they hunt. "Spears, traps." I looked at Clarke, "They're smarter than we thought." I nodded, "Much smarter." she nodded, "Okay, the river's not far, we can stick together from here, best not to get separated." Finn said.

"Jasper." I breathed. The cry sounded pained, and weak. "Amy wait." Clarke called running after me. "We don't have time Clarke. He's dying." I called back as the tall grass I pushed aside revealed Jasper strung up on a tree. I ran forward again, carelessly, forgetting everything that I'd learnt, my only thought being Jasper's safety. I gasped as the ground caved beneath me. I felt someone grab hold of me. I looked up, seeing Bellamy holding me above the spikes.

"Don't let me go." I said, feeling my hand slipping. "Come on! Help her up!" I heard Clarke yell, but my hand was slipping, I panicked, grappling to keep myself out of the reach of death, my hand slipped, but Bellamy quickly grabbed me again as the others hauled us both up. I fell on the ground panting right next to him. Clarke grabbed me, "Are you okay?" I nodded, as she hugged me tightly.

"We need to-to get the vines cut." I stumbled on my words, Finn volunteered, taking Murphy with him. I turned to Bellamy, still breathing hard. The familiar weight resting heavy on my chest. "Amy, Amy are you okay?" Wells asked and I nodded, still visibly shaken. I felt a hand on my shoulder squeeze lightly, "In and out, breathe." Bellamy said and I nodded. "Thank you." I said, "Thank you." he nodded and walked away.

I followed, leaving Wells behind. "What now?" he asked, "I-" I paused, "Well? Why are you following me?" I bit my lip, "I don't feel safe around Wells." His eyes softened a little and he nodded. "Just stay here." he said, "Don't want to fall in another one." I nodded, keeping my eyes on both him and Wells. A low growl ripped through the clearing, causing everyone's head to turn. "What the hell was that?" Murphy asked, "Grounders?" Bellamy asked. The question when a dark feline creature ran directly at us, disappearing into the bushes.

"Bellamy gun!" Clarke yelled, I saw Bellamy looking for the gun, when Wells fired off three rounds. I turned, only to see the cat jumping to attack Bellamy, when Wells shot it once more, emptying the clip. My breathing was laboured once more as Clarke rushed over, sitting me on a rock, "Come on Amy." she pleaded as I started coughing. "Water. She needs water!" she yelled, and Bellamy handed her a canteen. The contents of which were forced down my throat.

"Come on Amy, breathe." Wells said and I glared at him, taking deep breaths, until my breathing leveled out. "What's going on down there?" Finn yelled, "Nothing, hurry up." Clarke called back, and hugged me again. "Stop scaring me Amy. It's not funny." she said, and I laughed breathlessly, "Sorry, it's loads fun for mr though." she laughed lightly as the others came down carrying Jasper.

There was a celebration when we returned with food, but while everyone was partying, Clarke and I were working on Jasper.who seemed to have gotten worse. When we left the drop ship, Finn and Clarke started a conversation, after which Finn stole a piece of meat and left with Clarke. Murphy looked over at me and poited at my wristband. I just shook my head and sat on the lowered dropship door. I sighed tiredly as I watched everyone filling up on the meat. "Aren't you hungry?" Monty asked sitting next to me.

I shrugged, "Not hungry enough to pretend I'm dead. Plus, that cat looks disgusting anyway." he laughed at me, "Hold on." he said getting up, "Where are you going?" He pulled back his sleeve to reveal a band free wrist, "To get some scaly cat." I laughed at his forced smile. He came back over and handed me the stick. I shook my head and handed it back, "You don't have to share." he shrugged, "I want to. Come on. Whatever the hell we want right?" I smiled and took a bite. "Whatever the hell we want." I glanced over at Murphy and Bellamy, both of whom looked pissed, and smiled.
