The sun isn't even up, yet somehow a very grumpy Rain is. She stands in a very small kitchen staring at her fridge. Her stomach already rumbling from not eating since yesterday morning. But then she realises she doesn't actually have any food in. Nor does she the have money to buy some.

'Damn it!' She rubs her stomach whilst apologising to it. 'I'm so hungry. Once I have money i'm definitely going to buy some food.'

She has no choice but to turn up at her teams survival training. 'Wait a second, where are we even meeting?'

Moaning and mumbling about her Sensei's survival training, she picks up her small ninja bag and a kunai that she hides in between her short's strap and her bare hip, then runs out the door. When she's halfway down the street she then remembers that she didn't lock it.

After racing back and locking her door, she resumes in running.

She sighs in annoyance when she finally hears, not sees, but hears her team. She creeps through the forest until both pink and orange come into view. She hides behind a tree and listens in on them.

Unable to clearly make out their conversation, she just decides that from their raised voices, they're having an argument.

She decides that she wants to test their abilities herself, before their Sensei arrives. Silently she draws out her hidden kunai and throws it at Naruto and Sakura making sure it lands in the dirt between their feet.

"Aah!" Sakura screams and jumps back, whilst Naruto stares in Rain's direction dumbfounded. But he luckily he had a kunai held out in the defense position.

'At least he didn't scream and hide.'

"Who...who's there?" Sakura calls out. Rain can't help but laugh to herself.

With a blink of her eye, she appears directly behind Sakura.

"Boo." she whispers in her ear, causing Sakura to scream and run towards the raven head, Sasuke.

Naruto looks over to Rain, after getting over his fright, "haha, I knew you were there," he scratches the back of his head and puts his kunai away.

"You know," Rain begins, "If I were a real enemy, you'd all be dead." She turns towards Sasuke who his ignoring a pleading Sakura whilst leaning against tree, "you" she points to him, " should have helped your teammates." To which Sasuke tuts at and looks away from her, while producing a frown.

Rain smirks to herself, luckily nobody notices. Quickly picking up her kunai, she appears behind Naruto. She grabs his wrists, pulls them behind him and holds the kunai to his throat. Naruto screams, and Rain notices small beads of sweat falling from his forehead.

Sakura looks over in shock, whilst Sasuke doesn't even bat an eye.

Rain looks at him, glaring into his eyes. "So what are you going to do Sasuke?" Sakura looks back and forth between Rain and Sasuke.

"Are you just going to stand there? Or are you going to help your team mate?" She tightens her grip on Naruto's wrists, and pulls the Kunai closer to his neck. Sakura begins to look worried, and is about to say something when Sasuke begins talking.

"It's his own fault for getting caught." He frowns and then looks away again, leaving Naruto feeling disheartened that his team mate wouldn't help him.

Rain smirks again, this time directed at Sasuke. She releases Naruto and runs towards Sasuke. Catching him off guard, she slams into him, pinning him to the tree with her arm, whilst holding the kunai at his throat.

Sakura screams again, jumps backwards and looks towards Naruto, "help him!"

Rain, never looking away from Sasuke, shouts at both of them. "No!" They both immediately stop. She chuckles to herself, then says in a more dark tone, "It's his own fault for getting caught."

She leans close into Sasuke, and whispers in his ear, "When your team mates are in trouble, you save them. Because if you don't, who will be there to save you?"

She removes the kunai from his neck and steps back from him. Sasuke falls onto the ground and looks up at her.

Sakura runs towards him and helps him up, he would normally have pushed her away, but he was too busy watching Rain walk away.

Everyone is silent as they reflect upon what just happened. Naruto watches Rain in case she might attack him again. She scared him, almost as much as Sakura, but he would never admit that.

"Hi fellows. Good morning."

Sakura and Naruto's mood instantly changes at they shout back at their Sensei for being late. Rain sighs and shakes her head at his excuse about a black cat.

He walks towards a clock and tells his group that it's set at 12pm, he then pulls out three bells from his pocket, "Today's topic is to get one of these bells from me, who ever can't will have no lunch."

'Huh? No lunch? But i'm starving!' Rain can't help but sulk at the immediate thought of not being able to eat. But the then she realises that, from her test a few moments ago, only her and possibly Sasuke, have a chance of getting one of those bells.

"I'm going to tie you there," he points to three posts. "and eat lunch in front of you."

Rain loosing herself to hunger, points and shouts at Kakashi Sensei, "you can't do that! you told us not to eat breakfast, we're all starving and now we might not get lunch either?"

kakashi chuckles at this, "that's why you have to get a bell." Rain is about to expand on her arguement, when Sakura points out an obvious question,"Why are there only three bells?"

Kakashi grins under his mask, "Since there's only three, at least one of you will have to be tied to the log. That person will fail since he failed to complete the mission." he shakes the bells, "that person will go back to the academy."

'So that means if I fail, which i'm doubting will happen, I'll have to start at the academy' With a sigh she rubs her growling stomach.

"You can use your shuriken, You won't be able to get this unless you have the will to kill me."

Sakura looks shocked by what her Sensei said, "But that's too dangerous Sensei."

Rain tries to hold in a laugh, but it results in a coughing fit. Sakura frowns at her. "Sorry, but really?" Sakura looks towards Kakashi and then back at Rain.

"What?" She questions, clearly confused.

"Do you honestly think you could harm him?" Rain stares blankly at Sakura. Hardly believing her question.

"Well, I, I thought." Sakura stumbles in her sentence, slowly realising her arrogance.

"Exactly, you don't understand do you? He's a Sensei, a high level ninja. Genin like you, couldn't possibly have any chance of touching him."

Sakura points at her, "but you're Genin too!"

Rain nods her head at her argument "yes I am classed as Genin, but you clearly saw that I am above your level. And even I have my doubts that I'm going to be able to beat him."

Rain looks at Kakashi with a frown. He looks back at her, wondering what happened between them before he got here, and if this girl is really as good as she makes herself out to be.

With a sigh he speaks out to his students, "in society, those who don't have many abilities, tend to complain more. Just ignore the guy with the lowest score."

Naruto stumbles slightly at his words and looks in his direction.

Kakashi doesn't notice this and continues, "we're going to start after I say, 'ready, start'."

Naruto becomes increasingly angry at his Sensei. Enough so, that he whips about a Kunai, swings it around his finger and charges for him.

Rain watches her teammate as he runs into battle against his Sensei, eager to see how it ends.
