Ariana's POV

After I had succumbed to the darkness, I felt like I was floating. It had been hours (I felt like it had been, I couldn't have known since I had no watch or anything on me. Even if i did i wouldn'tknow the time because darkness.) since I was in the midst of it, when all of a sudden I began falling.

I moved my body so that I could see where I was falling to. I saw a portal like thing and was approaching it very fast.

I was panicking so badly I thought I would have an heart attack. As soon as I thought that I swear I heard a voice in the darkness, like a whisper, saying, "Do not fret child, it is not your time yet. You have a very important task to attend to before you get to be with the one you are destined to be with. And he has waited a long time for you to come along. You have to be strong for him. Also, do not reveal too much. You'll know when you see."

At the time I didn't comprehend it clearly but since I had perfect memory I could remember what the voice said.

Soon I fell into the portal and entered the world of the living again.

I know this is short but according to the title only this much seemed appropriate. And I also know that I haven't come even close to mention Percy but trust me people, in the next chapter I will introduce him, albeit indirectly.
