Meeting and Warning Mr. Brunner

Ariana's POV

I waited till it was break time for the group. At first I observed from a distance to see if Percy and Grover sit near the fountain. If this happened, I would be double sure that I was in the Percy Jackson universe. And fates' somehow made me Percy's half sister. (Not that I mind. I mean, I get to be with my favorite character and baby brother in some way.)

Sure enough, the boys sat near the fountain. And just like that, my theory was double checked and cemented over by the strongest concrete ever.

I knew what I had to do now.

Nancy Bobofit was going to bully Grover to get Percy in trouble with Mrs. Dodds aka a Fury named Alecto. And Alecto was going to interrogate Percy about the lightning bolt, which he didn't have. But she didn't know that.

I have to warn Mr. Brunner so that he can give Percy Riptide.

I make a beeline towards the said man and faced him in the most nervous expression I could muster. (It wasn't that hard, I was way too nervous to begin with, considering I was going to meet my first Greek mythology in flesh.)

I got his attention timidly as I said, "Sir?"

"Yes? " he responded.

"Are you by any chance Mr. Brunner? " I asked him.

"Yes, I am, my dear child." replied Mr. Brunner, astonished. "But who are you? And may I ask how you know this name?"

It's only fair that he knows, I thought, so I tell him, " I am Ariana Andromeda Jackson. As for how I know, I will tell you more later. But first, you need to keep an eye on Percy. I think he's going to get in some trouble and Mr. Dodds is going to get him alone somewhere to reprimand him. And that is not good, considering she's a kindly one. Oh yes, I am in the know about things being real. As I said, I'll explain it later. For now, just keep Percy safe. "

"O...kaaaay, " he said, " I'll try to keep him safe. But after he's safe, I need some answers young lady. "

"I told you Mr. Brunner, I will explain it all later." I replied.

"hmmhmm, " Mr Brunner hummed.

There was a bit of a pause moment, as both of us didn't know what to say now. As I had to get help so that I could live in this world comfortably, I decided to break the silence by desperately requesting him, "Sir, can I, can I stay with you? I have no where to go...?"

"If you really know who I am, then you would know that you really don't need to be nervous with me. And Of course you can, child. And looking at you, you look like the kids I usually take in, " he said soothingly.

Just as I was about to thank him, Grover ran up to us (or as much as he could in crutches) and said, " Percy just went with Mrs. Dodds to get scolded for something he didn't do. Or I think he didn't. Anyways, I have a bad feeling. She smelt off Chi... er... Mr. Brunner."

"Take a deep breath Grover and tell me in which direction they went. I need to see for myself. " Mr. Brunner said, trying to calm him.

Grover then led him to where Percy was and I just tagged along. I guess Grover didn't notice me so I don't have to explain myself now. Phew... for now...

As we reached where Percy was, we saw that Alecto had already done the transformation and was scaring Percy's daylights out.

'Oh man, this is so not good. I need to do something now,' I thought.

"Sir, throw the special pen towards him, now!" I exclaimed whispering, hoping to god he would understand.

I thanked my lucky stars that he did and called Percy before he threw riptide towards him and he had enough reflex to catch it in its sword form.

He then just kinda waved the sword as Alecto attacked him  and as the sword made contact, Alecto turned to dust. And then promptly proceeded to collapse.

Yay! Percy made an appearance! And this chapter is longer. Hopefully I'll get better at writing. But I need help guys. Tell me how it is.
