Chapter 5

Wearing to go see Abel.

I woke up to the bright sun in my eyes, I realized I wasn't in my room and I wasn't alone. I look to my side and found Jax laying the sleeping in just sweatpants. I look down at myself and see that I'm still fully dress. "Oh thank god." I said aloud. Jax turned over and looked at me and smiled. "Mornin' Darlin." He said in a raspy morning voice that I found oh so sexy. "Morning." I replied kissing him on the cheek. "What got you so excited?" He asked smiling at me. "I get to meet Abel today." I said excitedly. "Speaking of. What time is it?" He asked. I look over at the clock that on the side table it read 11:45AM. "Shit. It's 11:45." I told him. "I gotta get dressed." I said getting out of his bed. "When your done we'll go to the hospital." Jax said stretching. Only then did I realize how fit he was especially with his six pack. "See something you like Darlin?" He asked smirking. I look up at him "maybe." I replied and walked out and went to my dorm and hopped in the shower.
After I took my shower I grabbed an outfit. After I changed I walked out my door and locked it behind me. I walked down the hallway and into the bar area where all guys were up and eating. I walked over to where Happy was and sat down next to him. "So I saw you walk out of Jax's room." He told me. "Yeah and?" I said looking back up at him. "Did you two sleep together?" He asked. "Yes. As in only slept and no sex." I told him honestly. "I thought something was gonna happen. You should've seen Tara when Jax took you to his room." He said laughing. "What was her face like?" I asked. "At first it was shock the rage. Then she stormed out and slammed the door behind her." He said still laughing. "Damn and I missed it." I laughed. Then someone put an arm around my waist I look up and see Jax he looked down at me. "Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded my head got up and he lead me out the door to his motorcycle. He handed me his helmet as he got on. Once the helmet was on I got on the back and wrapped my arms around him and we took off.
We pulled into St. Thomas he shut the bike off and I got off and handed him his helmet as he got off. "Ready?" He asked. "Yep." I said smiling at him. "Good." He replied putting his arms around my shoulder. We walked in and headed to where Abel was. When we got there Tara was in there. We walked in, Tara glared at me but smiled at Jax. She picked up Abel and he started crying. "Do you mind?"she asked about to give Abel to him. "Kat you want to hold him?" He asked. "Absolutely." I said smiling as Tara frowned handing Abel to me. When he was in my arms he instantly stopped crying. 'He doesn't like the bitch either.' I thought, but then I heard laughing and looked up to see Jax laughing and Tara giving me a cold glare. "Oops did I say that out loud?" I asked with a small smile. "Yeah Darlin you did." He said chuckling. I sat down in the rocking chair with Abel. "Jax... Can I talk to you?" Tara asked he nodded waiting for her to continue. "In private." She said. Jax looked at me "will be okay without me?" He asked. "Yeah me and the little man will be fine." I told him he nodded and walked out with Tara. I didn't even bother to listen and just looked at the beautiful baby in my arms.
Jax walked in without Tara. "What was that about?" I asked handing Abel to him. "She accused me of sleeping with you last night. "Ohh." I said. He nodded and put Abel back in his crib. "Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded but before I left I went over to Abel and gave him a kiss on the head. "See you soon little man." I said walking out with Jax as we past Tara who kept her eyes on me. We walked out got on the bike and headed back to TM.
