A Brithday Party | Damien x Will

Chapter 2: A Weird Feeling

"Monica, Will thank you so much, I appresiate it very much.. But you didn't have to."

"Oh shut up Damien! We canceled all your duties for the day! Everyone deserves to rest from time to time." Monica told him.

"Oh you didn't had to do that either, I actually really don't mind working here"

"Come here Damien!" Will interubs, and drags him to a chair.

"Sit down. Mark, Aisha & Nico will probably arrive soo-"

"HELLO EVERYONE! we bring the cake!!" Nico said smashing the door open,

while Mark proudly presents the cake, holding it up with one hand.

"Happy birthday Damien!" "Yeah, also a happy birthday from me" Mark and Aisha said.

"Thank you.." Damien said.

*Oh damn, if they keep doing such suprises intrances this may be my last birthday.* He thought, checking his heart beat.

"U okay?" Will asked "y-yeah sure" Damien responded.

Mark gently put down the cake infront of Damien. "Here you go, we worked the whole last day on it!"

"It was not easy but I gotta say, i'm quite sadicfied with the outcome!" Aisha said.

"Thank you guys so much, it looks delisous.." Damien said quite impressed, the cake looked amazing.

"Common buddy, blow the candels!" Nico said, full of excitment.

"And don't forget to wish!" Monica added, trying to sound as mature as can be.

*Alright Damien, this is usually why you don't like having a birthday party... They are staring, they are waiting.. but you can handle this!! Concentraid, the wish, the wish, what do I wish for?......*

After a little second of enternity had passed in his mind, while looking at the yellow candels on the cake, thinking of a silly wish..

he succesfully blows all the candels. It wasn't bad after all!

He was pretty suprised how confident it felt now for him to stand in the total middle of things like that. As..

"*Cough*" "Happy Birthday too youuuu" Everyone suddenly started singing.

And there it was again, the mighty reminder why he never told anybody when his birthday was.

He'd rather want to be swallowed by the groud, than having to sit here any longer..

But he was still kinda touched to see how much effort they put into this...

Starting to cheer loudly after they finished singing!

Monica looking at him with a smile.

While Aisha and Nico went into an argument "But don't you sing first and blow the candels after?" "Shh, Aisha who cares!"

While Will wrapped his arm around Damien going "Well and another year has passed, how the time flies, we've all grown so much, haven't we?"

"Yeah, I suppose so." Damien asnwered, being a stiff tomato that tried to look away..

"Now Damien taste the cake!!" Monica said.

"Uhm, don't you guys want something too?"

"The birthday child first."

"Uhm ok.." it was weird, he had the feeling everyone was looking at him but trying to hide it.

It seemed suspicious.

So he uncomfortably took the first bite.
