Rye walked downstairs, seeing Sonny walking out of the bathroom, wearing his navy suit. It looked quite nice on him so he was quite lucky. But Rye didn't like seeing himself in a suit. He felt like it didnt suit him.
"Ready?" Sonny asked. Upon seeing his hair he gave a disapproving look. "I'm sorry but that hair? It looks like a lot of birds tried making a nest there." He said causing Rye to scoff.
"What are you gonna criticise next? My shoes?" He asked sarcastically.
Sonny looked at his shoes then back at him.
"I mean...they could do with a little bit more of shine..." Sonny grumbled and seeing Rye glaring he sighed "come on. We gotta go."
Chuckled Sonny nervously, opening the door.Rye rolled his eyes and sighed walking out. He walked over to his car, immediately sitting down on the driver's seat, Sonny on the passenger seat.
Rye teased Sonny about it on the way. That he was going with him instead of picking up Hannah, his girlfriend, to which Sonny responded with multiple scowls.
"I'm sorry that I failed my driving." He huffed. "I'm doing it this year again anyway."
"Yeah just try not to kill the driver again. Honestly the poor guy probably had a heart attack." Rye roared with laughter.
Sonny shook his head and looked outside. They soon could already view Hannah's house.
Rye parked the car, causing Sonny to take off his seatbelt and open the door, closing it behind him as he headed to Hannah's door.
"I'm not a bloody chauffeur. " scoffed Rye under his breath. Within seconds, Hannah opened the door. Rye gagged a little at Sonny and Hannah as they kissed at the door.
Please get a room. I beg you.
He mentally begged. He didn't want to have them kissing in the backseat of his car. Hell. No.
Rye honked at the two, impatiently. Why were they taking so long?
Sonny took Hannah's hand and both ran towards the car, Sonny opening the door for Hannah before climbing in at the back himself.
This screams in however many different languages there are that I'm single.
Rye began to drive once both had their seat belts on, focusing on the road ahead. He didn't want any accidents.
Rye really didn't feel like attending. But he knew there was no going back. Every boy and girl from their year apparently was coming. Even those he didn't even know existed.
Not as if I talk to everyone anyway. Who am I? The Queen?
He scoffed slightly, parking the car in front of the venue, which, hell. Was huge.
He really didn't feel like attending the prom. But it wasn't as if he had a choice.
He walked in with Hannah and Sonny, who were two meters away from him as they were doing that thing they do.
Rye walked in alone, as of usual. He wasn't very excited to talk to anyone else. But maybe if he actually made some friends he wouldn't have to keep listening to Sonny kissing Hannah, which was his least favourite hobbie.
He walked over to the drinks table and poured in some coke on a cup before heading to an empty table.
