As he headed to a table, he found himself thinking.

What were the point of school proms? Food - not usually good though. He learned that from his year Eleven prom. That was the worst. There was barely any good food there. But there was some sweets there and dancing which won him over, despite dancing being his current less skilful activity.

And to make things even worse, he spent his time alone, sitting on a bench watching the view often, as Sonny got busy with Hannah somewhere he didn't even want to know. Just the thought of what they could be doing this year made him shudder, a large one down his spine

He stood up to get some food again, because he felt like it. And found himself almost falling to the ground as two bodies collided. Not only his but another male.

The male lost his balance immediately, being slightly shorter than Rye himself. No. He wasn't slightly shorter. His head landed at least under his chin. That's how small the male was.

Rye held out his hand and pushed up the male before he could hit the floor.

Reflexes.

He mused as he looked at the boy in front of him.

"Hey I'm sorry. You okay?" Questioned Rye, looking directly at him.

Rye could be a sarcasm run machine sometimes. But not always. He wasn't that bad. At least he knew he wasn't. And this was one of the moments he showed it.

"Yeah. Sorry." Said the male looking at him before walking away, simply like that. Rye was left there, blinking.

Yay. There goes my opportunity to make a new friend

He thought bitterly to himself as he headed to the food table.

He didn't have sufficient time to fully take on his looks. But his eyes were so blue. He honestly was so curious about this new person. He was sure he had never seen him before. But those eyes did something to him. They were a beautiful vibrant blue. Though Rye could see the layers though. He wanted to get to know this new boy. Make a new friend

Rye headed away from the food table with his plate. He sat down, picking at his food as he thought. He wanted to talk to him. Maybe he could invite him to sit at his table... so he did.

Rye noticed him pouring a drink and walked over. He poured another one for imselft to be able to talk to him.

"Hey." He said calmly.
